Tout , petite Maison Japonaise transformée en petit Boutique Hôtel Bed & Breakfast . Decoration à la Japonaise pour de vrai .

Cons:

Pas de salon ou salle commune de petit déjeuner . Les rez de jardin a été utilisé en chambre , dommage ! On rêverai de prendre le petit déjeuner devant !

Fantastic Stay! Great Value!
Pros:

Awesome bathroom tub and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is brought in from local shops and is Japanese style only. A delicious French bakery serving hot Western breakfasts is only a 7 min walk away if you ask the front desk. The staff are superb!!

Pros:

Very disappointing stay. This hotel is advertised as 5-star, but it felt more like a 2-star property. Upon checking in, I found mould around the bath and several broken cupboards, with the overall condition and maintenance well below expectations. I paid AUD $3,900 for my stay but was so disappointed that I checked out just one hour after arriving. The cleanliness and quality were nowhere near 5-star standard. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Absolutely amazing!
Pros:

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, the bath room was definitely a highlight of my stay. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful which made things very easy for us, and gave excellent suggestions for places to go. I can't overstate how lovely they were. I will definitely come here next time I visit Kyoto.

Cons:

Taxi drivers had some difficulty finding it as they kept getting it mixed up with the sister hotel. Even giving the hotel business card didn't help

Excellent!
Pros:

This is a fabulous option in a quiet location in Kyoto, ten minute car ride from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, close to Arashiyama and other beautiful sites and easy to get to from Kyoto station. Room was super comfortable, fabulous amenities including high quality skincare lovely breakfast and the spa bath made the room extra special. Last but at not least very attentive and kind staff, Rie and team took really good care of us and we are looking forward to returning during our next visit to Kyoto. Thank you!

Pros:

部屋の広さ、清潔感、設備、サービスが大変充実していて最高でした。
そしてスタッフの方にサプライズのお手伝いをしてもらったのですが前日にお願いしたにも関わらず全面的にしっかりと協力して頂き、本当に素晴らしい方々でした。

This was one of our favourite stays in Japan - comfy, classy and memorable
Pros:

The property was so lovely. It had everything we needed and more. Clean, cosy and traditional. The beauty products were such a nice touch, the bath was amazing and the complimentary drinks every day was a nice touch. The staff were so so lovely and helpful and made the stay next level

Hospitality and luxury
Pros:

The hotel was located such that a walk in any direction took us to historic sites. The staff were wonderful and were incredibly enthusiastic to help us enjoy our stay. This boutique hotel was a memorable hi light of our whole trip
