Where the full-moon party is
The service is extremely poor in this hotel, takes over an hour to get food and you have to beg for service.
We asked the reception for iron and they couldn’t provide, very disappointing.
Pool room bungalows are excellent for a family. The different activities are really fun- esp joined Swahili night bbq. Service was great- booked us a beautiful table for the bbq dinner and were attentive to our needs. Breakfast so-so.
Way too crowded. Better suited for a young party crowd, which wasn’t our vibe. The spa owners were super annoying, peddling their services to hotel guests. You have to deal with outside vendors- that’s expected- but to be hassled by the hotel staff was next level. I had friends staying next door at Sunset Kendwa - I often escaped there for some peace and quiet.
Great breach for swimming
The breakfast was average. We stayed for 5 days and by day 5 we didn’t want to eat there. The beach is great for swimming but so many people trying to sell stuff. Hard to have a peaceful morning walk without getting hassled.
The pictures don't do this place justice! It is paradise with a powder white beach and crystal clear warm water. There is enough comfy sunbeds for everyone. The hotels security makes sure that you wont be bothered by beach boys while enjoying the sun.
The place is well maintained and the linen and towels in the rooms are of high quality. We had a bangalow with a private pool. The room and bathroom were spacious. The staff is the friendliest, attentive people. Always ready to assist with a smile.
A great variety of food was served daily.
You don't have to travel from the hotel because all the activities are right there on the beach. We booked a Safari Blue excursion with the hotel.
Loved the vibe and friendliness. Will certainly be back!

Exact opposite of comfortable stay.
Everyday construction from 9am in the morning, in the room next door.
Noises and workers in a hotel room next door? Never experienced that.
When i told the customer relations manager, she told me she’s sorry my vacation is ruined.
That’s it.
Along the beach, and the staffs are all very nice and accomodating. They even helped us to surprise a friend who is celebrating her birthday during our stay with them.
The breakfast is the same same everyday.

We loved our experience, the rooms are very comfortable, beautiful beach and facilities. Lots of beach loungers and different bars to sit at and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were so warm and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. Thank you to the restaurant manager and waiters for my special birthday celebration on the beach. Kendwa has a great vibe and is buzzing with activities bit still feels relaxed

Location the beach was amazing such a lovely beach. Rooms spacious and well equipped, staff all very friendly. Loved the bean bag sun lounges and the many different bar spaces. As England fans so glad you showed the World Cup. Enjoyed our stay
The beach rooms are all down stairs and across the beach difficult with suitcases hurt back when leaving trying to lift it back up to reception. The dinning room can be very slow on our last day we waited an hour for starters but staff kept us up to date. Waiting for drinks can also be slow but it is ‘’Africa time’ sometimes. We stayed in one of the bungalows with the little dip-pool if the dip pool is important is may be disappointing really small and so cold we didn’t use it but the room itself was massive and a good standard. Our taxi driver on the way said Kendwa village was busy - it wasn’t only a handful of local restaurants so be prepared it mainly hotel based and the beach bars are hotel based.

Pas de chambre familiale, ni communiquante donc quand j ai réservé pour mon mari et mes enfants j ai du prendre deux chambres et ils nous ont donné deux lits séparés dans chacune.
