A hotel with an identity crisis and perhaps overcharging. Clean and cosy but cramped bathrooms so not ideal for all gues

Most enjoyable!
Pros:

We liked the very polite, attentive staff, the food was excellent for all meals and our rooms were very comfortable and clean. We would recommend The Feathers in Woodstock.

Cons:

i was in room 26 and the noise from the bar area was very loud one night. I would avoid room 26 in future! Also, we thought the dinner menu should be changed more often, it was the same for the three nights we were there. Lastly, I look forward to receiving my deposits for the three rooms we had - £150.

Wonderful
Pros:

We arrived to be met by the receptionist who took our bags from the car. Fantastic service from your Ukrainian receptionist. We had dinner in the Aviary on Sunday and the food, wine, service and ambience were excellent. Thank you

Cons:

When we checked in the weather was hot and the air conditioning wasn’t working. Gemma the manager organised for us to be moved to a suite which was wonderful and the air conditioning was perfect.

we would go back and stay there, even thou we dont live very far away
Pros:

Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed,bedroom was excellent,village was really nice, everywhere was close, really enjoyed the food at the resturants

Cons:

stairs was a little bit tricky for my partner after a long day walking, but hotel was nice and quaint

Relaxing stay
Pros:

The friendly staff! The best!! Wonderfull design and welcoming atmosphere. Airco all over the hotel. Cosy courtyard. All the little details makes it a relaxing stay. The little cake in the room. Tony chocolony in de fridge. A good Coffeemachine in the room. We loved it.

Absolutely nothing. 😀
