The Worst Marriot Bonvoy Stay. Deceitful hotel, corruption, understaffed and untrained staff.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable.
They were projecting the World Cup matches onto a big screen in the common area so we could all watch it.

Cons:

The communication and hospitality from this hotel is TERRIBLE. We arrived very early (8am) due to our flight and we had asked for an early check in on 4 June. We arrived 30 June. The hotel:
(1) Did not reply to my question
(2) Replied regarding "early departure"
(3) I wrote back asking for clarification and asking (again) if an early check in was possible

The hotel GHOSTED.

We arrived on the morning of 30 June. And:
(1) The concierge staff informed us that early check in was not allowed.
(2) When we asked if it was possible, they then said it would cost as IDR1,000,000
(3) When I informed them about my communications with the hotel, they then changed their story and said they were "fully booked" and had no extra rooms.
(4) We asked them to check again. They promised. We purchased 2 buffet breakfast meals to bide our time. We went back to check on the status of our early check in 1.5 hours later. We were told that they will whatsapp us. Another half hour goes by, and we went back to check. The staff lied and said they did not intend to whatsapp us, only delay us. Their story changed from "we can only give you early check in if you pay IDR1,000,000" to "we have no rooms" BUT "if you pay us IDR1,000,000 we will have a room for you"
(5) At this stage, because of the lies and deceit, I requested the names of all the staff present as I would be launching a formal complaint against them. Their manager came out to speak and said that charging us IDR1,000,000 was "company policy". I asked where this policy is published. I went onto their formal hotel website. There was no indication of extra charges for early check in.

At this stage, the lies and corruption was so horrible. That their official reservations manager came out to apologise and address me directly. They acknowledged their error and in 15 minutes, we were checked into our room.

De vriendelijkheid en erg behulpzaam.

De chauffeur die via het hotel was geregeld was erg traag en met zichzelf bezig. Dit heb ik doorgegeven aan het hotel.
