Please note that the hotel can only be reached by aerial cableways from Kriens. The last ride is at 17:00 in summer and at 16:00 in winter. Please check the schedule in advance.

In summer, the hotel can also be reached by cogwheel train from Alpnachstad. Please check the schedule in advance.

The aerial cableways may be temporarily inoperable in case of strong winds.

The tickets for ascent and descent can be purchased at a discounted rate if you show your booking confirmation.

The à-la-carte restaurant is only open during the day.

Baby cots are only available upon request.

Please be aware that when booking more than 5 rooms or more than 5 people, different cancellation and prepayment policies may apply.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pros:

Incredible setting and friendly staff, a bit dated and tough to get to, but very much worth it.

Der gesamte Aufenthalt war für uns eine tolle Erfahrung.

Das Frühstück und die Lage entsprachen voll unseren Erwartungen

Cons:

Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis entsprach nicht unseren Bedürfnissen - da wir für die nachgebuchte 2. Person Fr. 150.- nachzahlen mussten. Denn zum Doppel-Zimmerpreis war ja der Aufschlag nur durch Abendessen und Frühstück zu erklären.

Best mountain top hotel i Switzerland!!
Pros:

Exceptional location and views. Superb staff at dinner, breakfast and on the terrace throughout the day. Very comfortable well equipped bedroom ensuite with comfy mattresses and pillows.

Aires del pasado y maravilla de ingeniería
Pros:

Es na aventura llegar a la cima y saber como se construyó este hotel a finales del siglo XIX. Historia y buen mantenimiento, sin lujos y correcto, suizo.

Das Panorama ist wirklich wunderschön! Und Essen ist absolut top!

Cons:

Der Speisesaal war mir persönlich zu klassisch aber das ist Geschmackssache. Was aber dort doof ist: die Fenster sind so hoch über dem Tisch, das man beim Essen kaum rausschauen kann - was bei so einem Panorama natürlich wirklich schade ist. Aber das Essen an sich ist wirklich top!

Einmalig schönes Erlebnis, jederzeit weiterzuempfehlen!
Pros:

Die Aussicht ist unbeschreiblich schön, vor allem wenn man sich morgens zum Sonnenaufgang das Aussichtsplateau nur mit einer Hand voll Hotelgästen „teilen muss“.
Das 4 Gänge Abendessen war grandios!

Cons:

Check in befindet sich in der „Ankunftshalle“ und NICHT im Hotel selbst. Mussten hin und her… wie sich einige andere Hotelgäste ;)
