It was the ideal location for our mini break away.
There appeared to be a shortage of staff behind the bar on quite a few occasions
Beautiful location, very peaceful with incredible views across the bay. Nearby is Shoalstone pool with a lovely cafe and Brixham is a manageable walk away. The food at the hotel is good quality and the staff are great. Our apartment was clean and comfortable, with dressing gowns, linen and towels. Just about ok in the heat with a fan and doors / windows open. The hot tub was brilliant fun!
A minor thing - there are no hooks on the wall! It would have been good to have somewhere to hang towels, coats, dressing gowns.
Staff were friendly The room was clean. Lovely views from the restaurant and bistro.
There was always a wait for someone to come from the back to serve at the bar. It wasn't easy to get to.

Disappointed in the room. Space in main room sacrificed for over large shower in bathroom, poor design (larger rooms at Premier Inn) Paid extra for sea view that was obscured by large tree! Expected more for a room at this price

Location of bedroom which was at the rear and adjacent to a wedding party with music until midnight.
Receptionist was very helpful and informative and offered help with our stay. We were given a room with a sea view without requesting one. We are in the restaurant and the meal was really good. Breakfast was very good
The room was on the second floor and it had been a very hot day, so the room was very hot. The saving grace was with having a sea view room was, with the window open. the beautiful sea breeze cooled the room at night.
We were upgraded to balcony sea view room which was amazing. Large room, great views , beautifully decorated. The terrace bar has great views with comfortable chairs and tables. Staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make us happy.
A bit dated in places.
The hotel is in a excellent position overlooking Torbay. The room was bright and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was served in their main restaurant with views overlooking the sea, and you had plenty to choose from. They also had another bistro for evening meals and drinks. The pool was an added bonus, which we used on two evenings. The hotel is clean and staff are very welcoming and friendly.
It would have been good to have a swimming costume spinner in pool changing area, to help dry off your swim wear.

SOME staff were a bit indifferent Only some in bar and bistro could do with smiling a a bit more friendly and more attentive
The location is everything, and the views from the terrace are spectacular! The staff here are almost as amazing as the view, and a big shout out to Mel and reception and Dave who seems to work everywhere else! Staff like these guys are a great asset.
The only thing I would add would be a small fridge in each room, so nothing really to report as dislikes.
