Friendly staff, comfy room
There wasn't anything I didn't like, it was a nice motel
Staff are super - had to change reservation twice and both times spoke directly with owners who are so nice and helpful - very very easy to get along with. They also own the Clipper Inn restaurant which is a local attraction - much bigger than it looks. Menu is much much more extensive than expected and all food our group had was simply excellent!
Location excellent. About 5+ minutes to any Clayton location
Nothing I can think of. Great place to stay and enjoy the super restaurant
Everything
Nothing
Old fashioned motel. Very nice. Very friendly. No Frills. Great value for just a place to sleep.
Very clean and easy to walk to downtown.
I'm a sucker for an old style pull up motel. The only down side to our room was the size of the bathroom & shower (really small). However, there was a coffee pot and coffee supplied, a small fridge and a microwave. Beds were comfy and we really enjoyed the cross vent between the back windows and the screen door. Very clean. Now the real show stopper was the restaurant. We were in the area for a week and this was, by far, the best meal we had. I had a nice pate as an appy and wonderful chicken cordon bleu as an entree. It came with a salad with probably the best ranch dressing I've ever had and roasted veggies. All were great. Husband had the same chicken and rice pilaf which he said was wonderful too. If you're a fan of chain hotels this def is not for you. If that's the case stay at a fancy one in town but eat here. You won't regret it!
Great location....Mike and restaurant staff very attentive and accommodating...
Could use and extra mirror ... otherwise just fine. Great value for price. 😁
The beds were uncomfortable.
The beds terrible
The location was very convenient
Check in was difficult. There isn't a separate person for the hotel, you need to check in through the restaurant. When I checked in it was before the restaurant was open and while people were there, there wasn't someone readily available who knew how to check people in. Also if you had any questions or needed something you needed to go to the restaurant
Very clean
The cement step going up to the porch was very dangerous with the way it slanted down.
