With all the hotels to choose from in the city, the Luma Hotel off Time Square is definitely the place to stay. An ideal location: just minutes away from multiple subway stations, eateries abound, across the street from Bryant Park and a hop, skip and a jump from shopping on 5th Avenue. The accommodations were top notch. The amenities were those one would expect to find at a more expensive hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. Everyone went out of their way to ensure our stay was first class. We will absolutely be staying at the Luma Hotel again on our next visit to NYC.
The hotel's location is close to the Time Square area, the hotel is clean, and the restaurant staff are friendly.
The room had a poor view and was located on the service floor. The receptionist was generally unresponsive. The breakfast was good, but the selection was very limited compared to other hotels of similar value and location. There were no events or activities at the hotel.

The hotel was centrally located to all the sights in Manhattan. We walked everywhere. The room was large, clean and very functional.
It is a boutique hotel and didn't have many food or drink options.
From the moment we stepped in we had exceptional service. From the front desk attendants to restaurant staff at breakfast and dinner and also house keeping. Everyone was over the top nice and accommodating. This was also one of the few hotels that had two King beds. And fit my family without having to get two separate rooms or an expensive Suite. Lastly the location is absolutely perfect so I would suggest this hotel to anyone!
The staff was amazing! Super helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable beds, robes and slippers, etc.
Comfortable beds, room size was reasonable for 4 people using 2 king beds. Bathroom was nice but would love to see more water pressure. And loved the blackout curtains. Cleaning staff was excellent.
Shower water pressure and the lobby was a bit on the cold side.

LUMA was a great location for Times Square, Theater District, everything. Most locations were within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were good size, clean and comfortable. We loved it. Will stay here on our next visit to New York. Highly recommend the LUMA Hotel!
Recently stayed with my teenagers and we had a great time. Staff was polite and very helpful. Rooms are beautiful and clean, comfy beds. (The barn door on the bathroom is weird though and the only tiny fault here) Location is perfect, when you walk out the doors to your right is Bryant Park and NY Public library, to your left is Times Square and Broadway. Grand Central Station is a short walk. We will definitely stay here again!
The breakfast options were amazing, all the staff were super friendly and very helpful. Particularly the doorman who took the time to show me how to find the subway information I needed to enjoy my day!
