★★★★★ An unforgettable stay at Hotel Cipriani, Venice
Hotel Cipriani is, without question, one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at.
From the moment you arrive, the level of service is simply extraordinary. Every single member of the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and everything is handled with remarkable efficiency, warmth, and genuine care. It is hospitality at its very best.
The food is outstanding. Breakfast is truly exceptional, with an incredible selection and impeccable quality, and every meal we had during our stay was absolutely delicious.
The location is another highlight. Close enough to enjoy everything Venice has to offer, yet wonderfully peaceful, allowing you to escape the crowds and experience the city in complete tranquility.
During the summer, the pool area is simply spectacular. It is a beautiful oasis where you can relax in an elegant setting, making the hotel feel like a resort while still being in Venice.
Hotel Cipriani delivers a level of excellence that is increasingly rare. It is a truly exceptional property, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We are already looking forward to returning.
Stayed there last week for the amazing Redentore fireworks. The stay was nothing short of perfection. It blew me away. The kindness of the staff. The renovated rooms are incredibly well done. The Oro restaurant is incredible and so nice to sample some Massimo Bottura dishes in Chef Vania's lagoon menu. Totally deserve another star. The pool and the bar are divine. hey just openes a new Dior Spa which is simply incredible. Pricey but totally worth it
The Cipriani is quite simply superb. The renovated lobby area since our last visit is stunning and the newly refurbished rooms quite lovely. Generous and welcoming service throughout. Not inexpensive but the only place I would stay.
We had a great time at this hotel and the food was excellent! All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and helped guide us through the beautiful city!
Gorgeous hotel and divine staff, really memorable. The prices in the restaurants are too high for the calibre and service though, one criticism.
an unique combination of stylish hotel, a marvelous resort and a most beautifully city.
A tribute to Italian hospitality.
A perfect secluded vacation in Venice with an exquisite atmosphere and a fantastic pool. Food and service top-notch We ate every single meal of the hotel

Where do I begin? I’d never been to Venice before, so I organised a transfer from Marco Polo Airport’s pier directly to Hotel Cipriani’s pier. This was easily organised through the hotel’s concierge and made the transfer so straightforward and stress free. I would recommend it to anyone and made for an amazing introduction to Venice. Arrival at the hotel pier was seamless. We were greeted by the friendly doorman and a member of reception staff directly from the boat and we were whisked into a cool reception area where we were offered a glass of champagne each. Our room was beautiful with a view looking out towards the lagoon and across the breakfast area. Every single member of staff was friendly and polite and said buongiorno whenever you passed them.
The pool is absolutely amazing. We were there in mid June and the temperature was in the mid 30s, so the pool was a godsend. The gardens are beautiful and the whole hotel, communal areas and grounds are just an oasis of calm.
Breakfast was equally impressive, again with lovely, friendly staff. The choice for breakfast was impressive. We’re were there for three nights and we barely got a chance to sample a fraction of their menu.
We ate in two of the hotel’s restaurants. On the first night, we ate in Cips Club and on the second night we ate at Oro. I booked the Oro reservation easily enough through the hotel’s website, but for some reason, I could not book an evening reservation for Cips Club. I ended up emailing the concierge before we arrived and they sorted it all out for me. We had a table booked for 1930, so the sun set as we ate. Food, wine and views were all stunning. The dinner reservation at Oro was equally impressive with views from our table looking out over the lagoon (at the other side of the hotel to Cips Club). Again, the food (with wine pairing) was sublime.
The concierge was fantastic and helped to arrange a boat trip over to Murano and Burano.
Honestly, absolutely nothing. If I’m being picky, I just worry that no other hotel will ever measure up to Hotel Cipriani.
Marketing does NOT add up to the actual room, utterly disappointed with room. Staff and service was fantastic, but, did not make up for the marketing lies we encountered in our wildly overpriced, tired and dated room with a view....

This hotel is exceptional
Our first visit to the hotel Cipriani.A wonderful relaxed oasis 10 minutes from Venice. We would highly recommend to our friends.
Excellent accommodation and a very special place with excellent staff and best quality dining and menu.
Amazing hotel in front of venice, huge seawater pool, splendid rooms, excellent restaurant.
Sonnst Lage , Hotel,Mitarbeiter alles perfekt kommen sicher wieder .
The service at this hotel is poor. Check in staff are miserable (especially the woman who wears her hair in a low ponytail) and rude and the guest relations manager Barbara is useless. Don’t go here expecting the Belmond experience or service. We chose this hotel because of the Belmond name but we would have been better off choosing the St Regis or Aman had we had known the Belmond service here is non existent. The only saving grace of this hotel is the gentleman Andrea and the gentleman at concierge

In La Serenissima at The Hotel Cipriani!
We were originally scheduled to come here to celebrate my 60th Birthday, but - sadly - Covid put paid to that. So, the expectation when we finally arrived here, some 6 years later was, naturally, very high. I needn't have worried. From our arrival at the hotel's own private jetty, to departure from the same dock 3 days later, the whole experience was just divine. And that first view of the hotel from the lagoon!! A lovely warm welcome, which really set the tone for our stay. All the staff were just so polite, friendly and courteous - and natural.
We're very lucky in that we have been able to stay at some of the best hotels around the world. The Cipriani is right there at the top with them. We always look for things that set "the best" apart. Here it is, undoubtedly, the staff but also the personal individual touches. Like the lovely welcome table of gifts in our room. A bottle of Ruinart champagne on ice, a lovely home made frangipane tart, a bowl of apricots and blackberries and a fascinating novel by Casanova. Even our own very stylish pool bag to use and take home - so special and so Cipriani. And the view from our room across the Grand Canal to St Marks- died & gone to Heaven!!
We thought our room was of a very good size, with a very well planned layout - it felt more like a junior suite. Located off a corridor near Cips, it actually felt more like our own private apartment.
We dined twice at Cips - fabulous views of the sunsets, and once at Porticciolo - excellent food & service. They even made me my special cocktail - The Last Word! All the team were very attentive, even bringing my wife a shawl as the evening cooled- so thoughtful, and so classy.
We'd like to specially mention Isaac - our young waiter from Morocco, Thisan in Cips who was so professional, courteous and just "on it." Also, Joshua at the waterfront bar/restaurant who brought us complimentary strawberries with our Bellinis, and recommended a tower with spectacular views near St Marco - a lovely guy. Lastly, Alessandra at breakfast, who looked after us so well, and was so observant, remembering all our preferences & likes after just one morning. She is a real asset to the hotel. All the guys on Concierge were very polite, helpful & immaculately dressed.
A lovely Dior boutique too, with very friendly smiling girls.
Just a few suggestions - the evenings did get quite chilly - especially when we dined at the "pop up" themed Taste of Regional Italy restaurant. It would be nice to have some portable outdoor heaters. Also, perhaps the hotel shop could also stock more Hotel branded merchandise- e.g. polo shirts, T-shirts etc & postcards alongside the more high end fashions. Again though - lovely staff.
So, all in all, a wonderful stay that far exceeded our hopes. We Would love to return - perhaps for our Wedding Anniversary, or a Birthday.
This truly is La Dolce Vita!!
