After a nightmare situation with my Airbnb, I was so grateful to Goli and the state at C-Hotels Joy for taking care of me and ensuring my stay in Florence was so lovely. The hotel is in a fantastic location right next to Firenze S.M train station, very comfortable, barely any noise can be heard from the room despite the bus stop out the front, the Papaya bar is so lovely to sit in with a drink, and anything I needed the staff were super responsive to providing. Can't thank everyone enough!

I always wish I could give a perfect score everywhere I stay, but a fair review feels more useful to everyone. And this one, despite some real bright spots, isn’t quite there.
The location is hard to beat: two minutes from the main train station and walkable to pretty much everything in the city. And the staff were a genuine highlight. Warm, helpful, and attentive throughout. Matteo and Faride in particular went out of their way and made a real difference.
The room left a lot to be desired for the price. Things added up: a half-open water bottle in the fridge left over from previous guests, towels with holes, old stains and tears in the bed linen, curtains that showed their age, and a hair dryer that was barely functional. The room didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned either. Fine for a couple of nights if you’re mostly out and about, but at this price point I expected considerably more care and upkeep.

We were upgraded to a larger room which was appreciated. The hotel was very well located and easy to find from the railway station and walkable to attractions .
We were treated to a welcome drink and they had some complimentary snacks, served up by a very friendly bar lady (Falide)
The staff at reception (Christian and Mateo) and the lady at breakfast were very friendly and could not do enough for us.
