Good location, rooms and breakfast
Pros:

Good breakfast, help well with food intolerances. Helpful staff. Good location for bus into town. Sufficient parking. Nice area.

Great hotel, fantastic breakfast and excellent staff
Pros:

Great little hotel. Really good quality towels; excellent hair dryer; nice biscuits and bottled water in the room. Mahi on reception was fantastic- he ran the hotel brilliantly, was so helpful and had very high standards- eg cleaning not just the tables when people had finished breakfast but also the chairs. Breakfast was excellent- nice crispy bacon, well cooked sausages and some real attention to detail from the breakfast chef- eg seasoned tomatoes cooked perfectly. I watched him come out and check that things still looked nice on the breakfast buffet. I’ve had a lot of hotel breakfasts traveling for work and this was up there with the best. A great little hotel and a credit to the staff.

Good value for money not far from city centre
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a quiet part of town (less than 5 minutes to the bus stop and 15 minutes to the city centre). Pleasant and helpful staff. Spacious room and bathroom. Very good breakfast buffet.

Cons:

We had a problem with the shower but the staff was able to help.

Comfortable and Convenient
Pros:

The staff were courteous and helpful - shout out to Mahi for his guidance on the parking and smilingly entertaining our questions. The English breakfast was well cooked and we were well looked after by Mahi and his colleagues. The room was comfortable and clean, with a portable fan to help with the warm weather.

Comfortable, lovely breakfast and great staff, in a great position to catch a bus to Oxford!
Pros:

Breakfast was superb, well cooked and they kept topping up the food, room was nice, a bit too warm but there was a fan, very clean and comfortable room.

Cons:

The shower on the first day was too hot but I told the staff and they came in a sorted the problem, no blind on the window in the bathroom so felt a bit exposed at night, but there was a shower curtain so that was okay!

Good for a short break
Pros:

Easy check in and lovely breakfast included. Bathroom was nice

Cons:

A converted house so you can hear other guests very clearly. Some guests up until 2am (not the property’s fault) but could hear conversations above.

Grubby run down bathroom and overflowing shower basin but handy location and good breakfast
Pros:

Location was handy with the bus stop into town opposite and breakfast was good.

Cons:

Grubby, black silicone in bathroom shower, water did not drain from shower basin and had to get out quickly to avoid it overflowing.
Lock on the window didn’t work so wasn’t secure to leave belongings in the room.

As usual, had an amazing experience. Welcoming and responsive staff, all clean and well-maintained, comfy beds, easy check-in and check-out, wonderful breakfast. Walking distance to Summertown and a 10-min trip to city centre. The favourite place to stay in North Oxford.
