Facilities were good.
Central location was perfect.
Shower was a bit temperamental to get to the right temperature.
Staff were fantastic and really helpful at every turn, the location on the market square right next to the Abbey couldn't be better!
The decor overall is dated and needs a refresh, the bathroom and carpet felt old in a way that makes you feel like it cant quite be clean, although I wouldn’t suggest that the place was unclean. There was no additional lock on the bedroom door, just the catch that your room key unlocks, so that could have been more secure.
Location next to Selby Abbey
The Inn itself is a very old building and has kept lots of features.
Room nice and spacious.
Clean bedding and towels.
Staff nice and friendly.
Would have liked a king size bed, the room big enough to accommodate a king size bed.
Although clean bathroom and bedroom needs a little TLC
Location, good bar area and beer garden, this is the 3rd time Ive stayed here and will be back.
No breakfast this time as it's been taken over by new owners, but wetherspoons is a 5 min walk away, could do with a refresh in the rooms, but they clean and bed comfy
Location
I did not sleep due to loud noise all night from air conditioning or a fan noise all night. The shower was not appealing for washing in. The room looked tired and run down and was expensive for the room, sorry.
Next to Selby Abbey.
Run down unclean bathroom..No contact with staff and room not serviced. The place is really tired and needs a lot of money to improve it. For over £100 a night it was rubbish. Website said brunch from 09.00 until 12.00 but staff said
kitchen didn't open until 12.00. Found a great liitle cafe for breakfast. Wi-fi was rubbish and TV kept glitching. Water from the shower head just trickled, no pressure there at all.
On a positive, good location.
Staff were accomodating, place very accessible to move around town and work, clean room and great food! Fabulous❤
Ño complains. Happy to come back again.
It is central for the town
Really shabby and neglected. An old building requires careful conservation and refurbishment, this place could
be lovely if the owner would spend some money on it
Pretty depressing and certainly not worth what we paid.
Internet access is appalling, TV kept cutting out, shower either scalding or freezing
Central location, parking.
No breakfast on site, but cafes within walking distance.
De plek, het gevoel in een inn te zijn
De douche was heel moeilijk instelbaar, te heet of te koud scheelde maar een mm
Good location
Pub food was tasty and good value for money
Nice bed linen and towels
Bathroom cleanliness was not very good , mould in the shower , unclean around the taps
The location was good
The decor was dated, the bedding was uncomfortable
The Location is perfect and the staff are friendly and helpful
The room faced the beer garden and the bright security light made it difficult to sleep, even with the blackout curtains drawn. Room was also very warm on arrival but there was a fan provided which helped.
