Enjoyable despite the lack of sleep
Pros:

The staff were very helpful

Cons:

Having scaffolding erected outside our window, and the room was very hot, but a fan was supplied, unable to open the curtains due to lack of privacy

Great value in a great location
Pros:

Excellent location and friendly staff. Great beer garden!

Cons:

The rooms are a bit dated and in need of some decor however very clean and comfortable and very good value for money.

Pros:

Staff were amazing and the bed was comfortable. Those are the two things I always hope for.
The food was great and the bar had a great atmosphere

Cons:

The only downside was I happened to stay during the recent heat wave when the rooms were warm. However the room was supplied with a big fan which really helped and for the price I can't ask for anything more. It was not much warmer than what it would have been in my own house.
I would certainly stay again!

It was somewhere to sleep and freshen up. Didn’t stay for both nights just the first.

Very friendly staff disappointed with the run down room.
Pros:

Good location next to the abbey. Comfortable bar downstairs. Nice white cotton duvet cover and pillowcases.

Cons:

Scruffy decorations with peeling ceilings. The milk cartons were off.
