Location
Expensive… $1000/ for 1 night that our flight was cancelled
La atención del personal y el lugar en general.
El balance costo beneficio, se me hizo costoso.
No hay atención en la piscina (bebidas, comida)
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Considering how busy The Wharf area is, the room was pretty quiet. Great view from the rooftop pool. I also loved they had a hoist at the pool which would allow wheelchair users to still access it.
Nothing, aside from the price. Very expensive.
My wife and I were in DC for a wedding. The hotel hosted the wedding party and many guests. The entire experience was first class. The facility is amazing and the staff are truly one of a kind. If you want to be welcomed to DC with open arms, close to all of the attractions the city has to offer, stay at the Intercontinental at the Warf.
Khan the concierge went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. He was so polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment I arrived. He took the time to make sure every detail was perfect and offered excellent recommendations that made my trip even more enjoyable. His professionalism and kindness truly stood out, and he made me feel valued as a guest. I can’t thank him enough for the exceptional service and hospitality.
I really enjoyed my stay. The property is very well-maintained and my room was clean, spacious and well stocked. I truly appreciated that there was an electric water kettle in addition to coffee supplies so that I could make a proper cup of tea. The staff was all very friendly. The front desk and bellmen were all so friendly and gracious. Two people who stood out Baraki and Trey. I wish that I knew/remembered the name of the bellman who helped me upon arrival on Wednesday 5/27 at approximately 4:30 (he was young, about 5'8" and had dark hair).
The meeting facilities were good, although one west facing window had a broken shade that made it uncomfortable as the sun was setting- sunglasses were necessary during the event.
Next time I have to travel to that part of DC, I will happily stay again at the intercontinental
Fabulous hotel with exceptional service - prompt, thoughtful and pleasant! Love the "new" Wharf area.
I stopped by the outside bar - The Watering Hole. AJ absolutely earned a 5 star rating from me. AJ was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I can't wait to come back and see AJ again soon!
Spent 8 days and 7 nights at the InterCon Wharf for work. From the sales team to the event team to the bellmen - everyone was stellar! I want to give special shout out to Aidan and Remela for their outstanding support. Also Baraki and his team including Aziz were always there to help in any way as we supported over 40 events at the hotel and shuttling hundreds of people in and out of the hotel. What a crew!
This is a beautiful property in a perfect location. Right on the Wharf, but within walking distance of the National Mall, the monuments, and all the museums. And trust me, we don't usually splurge for luxury hotels, but this one is totally worth it. And gotta give a huge shout-out to Maria at the front desk. She is super professional, but also super sweet and kind and patient... especially with a big dummy such as myself. Anytime we're back in DC, we'll be staying here.
A staycation is always welcome and last weekend my husband and I checked into the beautiful Intercontinental Washington DC at The Wharf. The experience was superior!
The professionalism of the front desk team and the welcome of Chef Concierge Shujatt Kahn offering a room with a view and a few extra treats that helped create a stay that was warm and memorable in spite of a cold and rainy Memorial Day weekend outside. Chef Jeff William's WIllowsong lounge was also so comfortable and offered both excellent cocktails and bites before wondering out to see explore all that the DC Wharf offer.
Our sincere thanks for a wonderful experience of hospitality. This is a Hotel that really cares and we look forward to returning, as well as highly recommending to all!
