The hotel itself was stunning. The room was clean, well-presented and well equipped. The food, served in a separate building, was very good and reasonably priced.
The car park was immaculate and felt secure, although I found the cost excessive. £36 for two nights seemed disproportionately expensive compared with the overall stay.
Unfortunately, my departure experience left a poor impression.
My checkout time was 11:00am, but I left earlier to attend a meeting. After the meeting, I realised I had accidentally left my wash bag in the room and returned to the hotel.
The concierge explained that the room may already have been cleaned, but, recognising my concern, allowed me to check the room myself before escalating the matter. When I returned to reception, the concierge continued to assist and involved a supervisor, who was able to locate my property.
Up to this point, the service had been excellent.
However, the supervisor then openly reprimanded the concierge in front of me and other guests for allowing me to check the room. He stated that the concierge should have contacted him first.
I felt this was unnecessary and unprofessional. The concierge had been courteous, proactive and focused on resolving my issue. Rather than being criticised publicly, he appeared to be doing exactly what a customer would hope for from a member of staff trying to help.
The hotel itself was excellent, but this interaction detracted from an otherwise positive experience.

Everything else it was very uncomfortable bed wise. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest either. I would stay in premier inn next time
The manager is rude and sarcastic, lacking any etiquette in dealing with guests. He needs to take refresher courses on good manners and professional behavior, as his behavior is unbecoming of the profession. He is out of step with the profession, displaying a rude and ironic temperament, as if he were dealing with a family member. We, the guests, have nothing to do with his personal problems or culture. He needs retraining or new courses to become more professional.
The rooms were clean, good interior design and well maintained.
Breakfast was awesome and the staff quite friendly.

The location, restaurant and clean bathroom
For a 5 star property the room was so shabby. Cheap bad quality bedding, dirty carpet in the bedroom and it just seemed to lived in and not nice
Staff were really friendly and helpful in both the hotel and restaurant.
Bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Room was really spacious and if you're staying longer has so many facilities.

My room was ready early.
Breakfast was nice.
No bottled water in the room, the coffee machine had no instructions or description of what the pods were. The duvet was thin, but it is summer, I couldn't reach the extra bedding on a high shelf in the wadrobe, i didn’t want to stand on a chair. I had no robe or slippers to go down to the pool in and couldn't find the towels that it said were in the pool area. The pool was dirty and the jacuzzi was not functioning. Only 1 lift was working so waited for the lift often and had to walk the stairs one time as it kept being full.
