The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a good rest whilst travelling between Hakuba and Mount Fuji. Breakfast was simple and yet filling.

The hotel is well located, within walking distance to Matsumoto station.
The staffs were really nice, I met a cleaning senior lady and a senior gentleman, I really admire their dedication to work at this age, which was very inspiring.
You can see many info from the TV in the room, Landry room occupancy, restaurant recommendations, wifi password and etc.
The breakfast is at the restaurant on the ground floor, it was decent, but could have been better, as the restaurant didn't seem to care about refill the food when they were gone.
I am not sure if it was because of the room type I booked, the room looked a bit old, the bathroom light was extremely dark, which made the shower a bit unpleasant.
I used the Landry on the 3rd floor, the washer was a bit dirty, I saw some hair on the door of the washer.
Loved this hotel. Rooms were enormous, especially by Japan standards. The bed was comfortable, and they had lots of free amenities. Breakfast was decent and offered until 10 AM. Great location near the train station and castle.

This is a basic Japanese style hotel, but it is clean, everything works, comfortable, and goid value for Japan. Checkin was quick and easy, as was checkout. Location is fantastic... easy walking to station, loads of food and drink outlets, thr Castle and other tourist streets.
It would gave been nice to have drinking water in the roo. and basic coffee and tea in reception as with other hotel chains. But a vending machine is available.
