Everything the rooms, the pub, our evening meal was lovely, the fact you could sit outside in the garden and overlook fields, on-site free parking and the breakfast was excellent too. And I loved the quirky vine growing inside the conservatory part of the restaurant.
Nothing.
We were staying for a week and there was nowhere to place our clothes. We were rescued by the wonderful ladies that looked after our room. They went off and came back with a chest of drawers. Shaz and Leslie you are amazing. You even got us the racks to put the suitcases on. Thank you so much and also Wendy who we met last year and again a few days into this week. Really exceptional kindness during a very hot week.
I have plenty to say but page always out of order. Funny that!
Very quaint location and setting . Dinner also great . Lots of parking onsite- no pun intended.. Coffee and tea, hot choc and cookies in room.
We were there during extreme heat way and they did provide a fan but it was brutal
Dinner and breakfast were excellent
Room very comfy but we would have liked a portable fridge for medications
Nothing
Nice breakfast very good selection to choose.
Fine for us but not suitable for less able many stairs.
Big rooms. excellent breakfast, free parking, excellent restaurant onsite, staff are fantastic
very hot rooms in summer
Accomadation, ground floor with outdoor seating area ,overlooking a field with lamb's comming to say hello, comfortable bed ,large room ,great food in busy inn ,we booked tables ahead of time for meals.
The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and attentive. The location was fabulous overlooking rolling hills and lots of sheep. Also, no problem with parking as there is a car park opposite as well.
There is nothing I didn’t like apart from the heat as it was in the middle of a heatwave
colazione ottima, letto molto valido
camera piccola, al mattino assenza di acqua fredda
Food good
Denial over our payments for lunch dinner and drinks cast a cloud over our enjoyment of the stay.
The view and the balcony were amazing. Would be very different on a wet day. The food was excellent, great portions and very tasty.
The room is ready for a refurb.
Great looking from outside old style pub
Inside needs work even lo clean room was a lot smaller than we see online when booking
holes in ceiling cracks and flaking paint soon as walk in room not a good look.
flaking paint on walls in bathroom room very hot and noisy and beds very hard uncomfortable
Excellent location
Full of character
No Tv signal
Bar closed too early 10pm
Love coming here! Wonderful position...so close to town centre and other attractions, but peaceful and scenic. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Always stay here when visiting Wales!
Maybe a little fridge in room, so that complimentary water is cold, in summer and a small bottle of milk would be lovely in fridge too
We booked a Fathers Day Sunday lunch for 7 pm and by 7.50 pm our order had not arrived. - it was only Sunday dinner so must have been mostly cooked already. Other couples who came after us were being served so we flagged down a waitress who said our order had somehow “vanished” and she would tell the kitchen to prepare it quickly. Our dinner did arrive 10 minutes later but after we had eaten our main course we wanted to order a dessert and coffee. However we were totally ignored by the waitress (mature lady with dark hair) and sat there with dirty plates for more than 10 minutes while the waitress chatted to the table next door. In the end we gave up, paid and left without our dessert and coffee.
