Can’t wait to come back!
Pros:

The rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bar attached was delightfully quirky and comfortable with lovely food. The location was peaceful and had a really great bus service just outside the hotel so it was easy to get around.

good feather bed and overall aesthetic

window blind broken, heated towel rail leaking, dinners at Canny Man, where we were overcharged at first, below average

Cons:

Logistisch schwer zur Innenstadt - mit Abstand das teuerste Hotel auf unserer Schottland-Tour - Sauberkeit könnte besser sein und Gastgeber waren im Verhältnis zu allen anderen großartigen Gastgeber eher durchschnittlich.

Pros:

Die Lage war nicht schlecht,man kann mit dem Bus in 20 min.in die Stadt fahren.Frühstück war ganz ok.Zimmer war auch ok,das Bad war super.

Cons:

Der Empfang bei der Ankunft war sehr kühl und man wurde schnell abgefertigt.
Das Zimmer war nicht richtig sauber ,was bei dem Zimmerpreis eine unverschämtheit ist.Parkplatz war hinter der Unterkunft in einem engen Hinterhof,war OK.Das schlimmste war jedoch das Bett bzw. die Matratze, die war der letzte Schrott und total durchgelegen.....

Loved the quirky pub The Canny Man below our accommodation.
Pros:

Great area, with shops, pubs and eating options close by. Walking distance, although a good walk, into the city centre.

Cons:

The road noise of a front room could bother some people, but I didn’t find it a problem.

Une escroquerie.
Pros:

Rien ! Pas de réception et même personne pour répondre à vos demande. Le Bar qui fait office de réception ouvre à 10h. Nous avons payé pour le petit déjeuner mais nous n’avons pas eu de petit déjeuner. C’est une escroquerie ! Pas de télé machine à café sans café. Pas de ménage ou changement de draps ou des serviettes, …. et très mauvais endroit !
