It needs a bit of an upgrade and some staff need to realise people are there to enjoy themselves.
Pros:

There was no water in the bathrooms at the bar on the 1st night. We were attending a wedding the next day. Guests arrived to the wedding and there was still no water so we had to let some guests use the toilet in our rooms before the ceremony. The next mirning I went for a swim and when I went to have a shower there was no water in the changing rooms. I had to go to my room to have a shower. When I got there there was only a trickle of water coming out of the shower. I told the lady when I checked out that I was dissapointed with the lack of water. She said its the councils fault.

Cons:

Some older staff were like women from the army the way they spoke to people.

Nice venue , clean venue , very picturesque, but under staffed

When we got to the hotel , there was a lot of people wanting to book in , as a wedding was starting , there was only one girl on the reception and she was on the phone taking booking , very slow check in .
Wedding was great food very good , service at bar poor
Next morning , was down for breakfast at about 9:30am
They had no eggs , no mushrooms , no hashbrowns , there was huge ques for everything
It was a busy time but you can assume this is always the case on a Saturday or Sunday morning .

The room could of been warmer as the radiator wasn't on, but there was a plug in heater.

Pros:

Hotel is really beautifull! The room was spacious, clean and really pretty.

Cons:

Ordering coffee and tea during breakfast could be organized much better. On our first day we almost didnt drink any, just because my partner got up and found someone we had something warm to drink. Just wondering if it would not be better if guests would make their coffee/ tea by themselfs.

Pros:

I like walked in front the hall was beautiful but the bathroom and hall upstairs really out dated, needed new carpet and bedroom badly need done up

Cons:

The staff were rude.. no smile at all!!!
We were waiting for 40mins for lunches

Lovely facilities and the breakfast was amazing, lots of choice. Great service at every touch point in the hotel.

Cons:

Our room felt a little dated in comparison to the rest of the hotel, the carpet was pretty worn. We would still very happily return but if there was something to make it even better it would be this.

Will definitely come back to stay.
Pros:

Location was excellent. So near to take a drive to Dundalk, carlingford, beach etc. Very relaxing atmosphere if you wanted to stay at hotel and not go anywhere. Suits all moods.

Cons:

The only thing for us was the water pressure in the shower was poor but managed with the handheld head which was better.

Beautiful hotel lovely breakfast room was really nice..if i had one complete it was with yhe bar not enough staff covering thrre was a weeding on at the time but they should of been prepared.
