Location very good ..Nice breakfast.great staff.
Wall paper in room was very hard on eyes.
The location is one of the best.
This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our 17-day trip, but unfortunately it was also the most disappointing.
The location is excellent. It is in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of the harbor, restaurants, and major attractions. Unfortunately, that was the only highlight of our stay.
The hotel entrance was difficult to find, looking more like the back door of a shop than the entrance to a hotel. Inside, the property felt cramped, with dark-painted walls and ceiling maintenance still in progress.
Our room was very small (about 15 square meters) and cost approximately $225 per night. When we entered, the room was extremely hot—well over 80°F (27°C). We tried repeatedly to adjust the air-conditioning controls, but no cool air came out.
I went to the front desk twice for assistance. The first time, I was shown how to operate the controls. When that didn't work, we were moved to another room, but it had exactly the same problem. At that point, I began to suspect that the hotel simply did not have functioning air conditioning.
A few days later, another hotel in Norway honestly explained that many hotels there either do not have air conditioning or rarely use it because of the normally cool climate. I completely understand that. What disappointed me here was not the lack of air conditioning itself, but the lack of transparency. During our stay, Norway was experiencing an unusually severe heat wave, yet instead of explaining the situation, the staff repeatedly had us go back and forth between the room and the front desk without resolving the issue.
Breakfast was also the weakest of our entire trip, with very limited choices and almost no staff visible.
I have stayed in hotels around the world for many years and have never written a negative hotel review before. This is my first. Sadly, I do not believe the overall experience justified the premium price.
Schande!
Tutto bello, posizione e colazione super, staff eccellente
The hotel is very well placed for exploring Bergen, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was about the same as other hotels I've stayed at in Norway.
The first room I stayed in didn't have many electric sockets, I had to put the kettle on the floor to plug it in. Both rooms I had were on the second floor and faced a noisy bar across the street, it was quite noisy until about 3am.
Location
Shower had no screen, water flooded entire floor and out onto carpet outside of bathroom and into bedroom.
Room too noisy with drinkers outside
needed Aircon as the room was very hot.
Centric
El esmorsar una mica just
Veldig sentralt
Ikke aircondition på rommet ,var utrolig varmt
