Magic Hotel Xhibition is a self-service hotel. All necessary information is by the self-check in area – Entrance is from Olav Kyrres gate. The reception at Korskirken is open 24/7. You will receive an email with check-in instructions and access codes on the day of check-in – contact reception if you have a late arrival. The reception is located in Magic Hotel Korskirken, Nedre Korskirkeallmenningen 1A, 5017 Bergen. Entrance via Rema 1000, marked with a sign.

Please note that external visitors are only allowed in the common areas and not in the rooms.This property is located in a busy area so guests might experience some noise.

Misfornøyd med tanke på prisen, og at man måtte ringe service flere gangen pga self check in og dørinngang.
Pros:

Ikke så mye, grei beliggenhet.

Cons:

Veldig skittent, skulle ikke tro de vasket der.
Gulvet var ikke rent, flekker, negler og lignende.
Self check-in, fikk ikke melding om kode og etasje for å hente kortet, så måtte ringe. Selv da måtte jeg vente 5m før de fikset det.
Koden for å komme inn inngangen funket ikke flere ganger, og vi måtte stå utenfor flere ganger…

Pros:

It is located in excellent place. The room is compact but has everything i needed. You can make coffee and tea ... all good.

Cons:

It can take time to find some of the things. The only major disadvantage is that they do not answer when I needed there help. I wanted to have late check out or a place to keep the laguage until my flight leaves but they dud not respond. Also booking costumer service did not help. You have to consider that....

Pros:

Great location with easy access to public transport (trams and buses to Bergen airport). Room was clean and pleasant.

Cons:

1. Pin number for my room was not sent to me beforehand; when I rang the hotel number upon arrrival at the hotel building, I was told to walk to another hotel to resolve the issue. Not a long distance, but not easy to walk over after a day of travel, with bags and in the city one doesn't know. 2. Hotel rooms are located on the 5th and 6th floor of the building, downstairs the space around the lift was dirty, with cans of drinks lying around, spilled drinks and drunk young people sitting on the stairs. 3. I contacted the hotel via email few times (to inquire about the access code, to report on the state of the building, to report that I felt unsafe upon arrival) and received no resposne. 4. The address given on booking.com (Smaastrandgaten) is not the actual address, if arranging to meet someone. 5. Self-check means that there is no one on site, should things go wrong. 6. The access code at night did not work.

Did the job but wouldn’t stay here again.
Pros:

Central location. Easy walking to all attractions. Very close to light rail so access from/to airport is convenient. Room was clean, modern and it was a bonus to have working control of the temperature.

Cons:

Unstaffed - even though it says you require credit card and photo id to check in, it’s self check in, key in a lock box. Having no staff, if you have a problem the message you receive says to call Securitas and that they may take some time to respond. Just the support you need when a paralytic drunk is trying to get into your room at 2am on a Saturday morning. At the very least a spy hole in the door and or a chain would have been helpful. Luckily he was on his own and I’ve been around the block and dealt with it. Not something you would want your young son/daughter to have to deal with.
The rooms appear to be mainly booked by the young and so can be noisy overnight with ‘guests’ returning until 4am.

It feels more like an upmarket hostel rather than a hotel. I know Radisson have recently taken over this establishment, they need to make improvements if this is to match customer expectations from the Radisson brand.

My room card started blinking red when j try to open my room door.Again called and they asked me to come to another hotel 0.4km away.I walked to that place to activate my card again.
These are not convenient during my stay. Apart from that the location of stay was good

In bathroom, there is no provision to keep soap while taking shower.Have to keep the soap in the floor which I dont like .
