Das Personal war nett. Leider liegt das Hotel etwas außerhalb. Bei Expedia steht das der flughafenshuttle kostenlos ist. Das stimmt nicht.
We had originally booked 14 nights at Lou Ralf Hotel, but it became clear on the very first day that we didn’t want to stay there. The rooms were in extremely poor condition: furniture was damaged, drawers and closets couldn’t be opened properly due to missing handles, and many fixtures were worn out and dirty. Particularly concerning was the air conditioning – it was leaking, heavily soiled on the inside, and appeared so unhygienic that we had serious health concerns. The bed linen was dirty, and one of the sheets even had visible footprints on it. After three nights – and only after we managed to find alternative accommodation in the middle of Africa – we were finally able to check out. This hotel, in its current state, is absolutely not recommended. A clear warning to all travelers to Africa: Do not book Lou Ralf Hotel – it does not meet even basic expectations for a clean, functional, and well-maintained place to stay.
They are coll and you can feel cosy and calm pleace .You are like in your house
This hotel definitely ought to be the first choice for every serious traveller who are looking for a highly prize-worthy option to the posh ones, like Kempinski or Lancaster hotels. --- The staff at Lou Ralph Hotel is composed of the most lovely people, and their service level is top-notch. They are very attentive, professional, and commit with heart and soul to their tasks. You certainly will feel safe, and taken care of. --- The surroundings are perfect for me loving daily walks, and you can even allow yourself to visit one of the local bars in the more central streets for a cold beer or soft drink. --- The hotel offers a very good and nutricious breakfast, served either at the pool or in their restaurant. Later during the day, a snack or a full lunch or dinner meal are easily catered for, as well as a nice bar service --- Gym and pool make up for lost time back home, and you can feel well exercised when going to bed. --- In summary: do not hesitate to test this resourceful gem - you will not be disappointed, mark my words!
No international plug. Only one towel. No transportation provided. Cold breakfast
Nasty, nasty, nasty. From dead roach to filthy debris in bathroom to dirty towels. Never again. In addition, no remote control for TV nor AC unit. The shower water had no press and left my skin dry. I stayed here 3 days and felt I was in a hell hole as my traveling companions did not want to move to another hotel. Never again.
Over the last five (5) years, I have stayed at Lou Ralph whenever I come to Ghana. The first day I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with open arms; it felt like a home away from home. The reception staff, the kitchen staff, and the security staff were all great. The staff always went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I have also recommended my family in Kumasi to stay at this hotel when they come to Accra for business.
My experience at this hotel has always been exceptional; the welcoming family vibe made it a standout choice. I can't wait to return and again be embraced by the warmth and hospitality of this exceptional.
Fabulous stay at this hotel
Staff were great and friendly.
Pool very clean and usable, the only downside is the steps into pool, especially if you have mobility issues.
Breakfast is only included for 1 person, even if 2 staying in room ... this seems to be a Ghanaian thing.
Security on entrance.
Food during day from pool/bar menu, there is great selection and reasonably priced, hot and generous portions.
Pool is accessed by day users and locals
This is one of the very best hotel in Accra. It is not comparable to Movempik and Radisson but if you want something on the cheap and great, be here.
Good
In one word, 'Awful'!
The worse place I have ever stayed at in Accra.
They tried to charge twice, asked for extra payments for breakfast when it clearly said 'breakfadt included'! It was so awful, i couldn't eat it. And they charge to bring it up to your room.. No towels, no soap, no toilet paper, no TV. Awful reaction from the reception staff when I asked for towels and water.
The place is a building site, work going on all day. The swimming pool was packed with youngers splashing around and making noise... couldn't have a swim.
Needless to say, I left after my first night and went elsewhere!
Don't go there folks..!!
Ps Hotels.com where totally unhelpful.
Slechte schoonmaak van kamer verder net en goed hotel vriendelijke mensen
Nice hotel. Staff is super attentive which is very nice. Nice property Love that they offer a pick up from the airport. That was very important to me.
Good choice. Great staff. Pool and gym included
This is absolute mayhem trying to check in, booked through Hotels.com and arrived for check in only for me to be told that I can't pay online even though I did and showed my receipt of payment. Their Internet was down so they couldn't see anything and had to call the owner to check which wasn't helpful either. In the end it took about 40 minutes before the receptionist came back and apologies profoundly about the mix up and gave me a room but by then the damage was already done. My advice would be that you should make the reservation but don't pay online if you don't want to go through my experience. The guy at reception was quite helpful in the end but a paying customer should not go through what i did.
Great team and good customer service. internet is perfect and i really enjoyed their food. left over $5000 in the room and they kept it for me until i returned for it. bigups to the lady at the fronkdesk ( Freda) and to the chefs for their amazing meals.
visiting again soon
The Hotel was meant to be near Oxford street but was actually 17 km away in Western Legon.
This hotel is a fake listing in Google maps . Its on an unmade road miles from bars and shops. The listing was also fake on lastminute, com.
Its dirty and its empty and very difficult to get a taxi. Its a dangerous place.
