Not what we expected, we would not return.
Pros:

The reception area and the gardens are lovely. Lovely pool area, however the water was too warm for the time of year. Jazz who worked there was a delight. Breakfast very good anything you want and cooked well.

Cons:

Where do you want me to start. On arrival it was quite busy with guests arriving, they had a new staff member Steven it was his first day he was trying so hard to do everything himself checking guests in and serving the bar on a hot day. The owners were there but did not appear at all he had to keep going to them to ask questions.
I had rung the hotel before confirming my booking to check where the deluxe superior room was I was told one flight of stairs about 10 steps with railings on either side. When we arrived it was a wide staircase with only a railing on one side. They were understanding about giving us another room however it was just a double, the room was really small, the shower trickled out I couldn’t was my hair in it. We eventually got into our room at 5pm. It The rooms were extremely hot.
The other thing we noticed was that guests were not allowed to order food in the evening and eat it in the outside area, considering they don’t serve food we found this to be a bit off, especially in the extreme weather. We were offered a partial refund which took 3 weeks to appear in my bank after a few emails.
What was meant to be a lovely relaxing break was very disappointing.

Pros:

Excellent breakfast and very kind and welcoming staff. The location is excellent, too.
Also great for exploring the Isle of Wight by bike, as it is safe and easy to park a bike by the hotel.

Cons:

I had been looking forward to spending a few hours by the pool and going for a swim in it, however, seeing a number of other guests enter the pool in t-shirts and shorts (not swimwear) quickly made me change my mind.

Bike Tour Luxury Stay
Pros:

Attention to detail in every way. The family were awesome and welcoming. Sauna and hot tub extra treat.

Cons:

Only suggestion was perhaps softer pillow but that's literally the only thing which comes to mind

Pros:

Pleasant staff. Good breakfast handy for town centre

Cons:

Inadequate parking and limited on street parking. Ultra low level lighting in bedroom wash basin in room not with toilet or shower compartment which was small although room was large enough for a larger en suite.
Tv was complex to operate had to get help a couple of times.

2 Night Stay
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay and were especially impressed by how genuinely dog-friendly the hotel was. Our dog was made to feel just as welcome as we were, with thoughtful touches, such as asking if your pet would like a sausage at breakfast. The staff were warm, friendly, and happy to accommodate us throughout our stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was in a great location. It was wonderful to stay somewhere that doesn't just allow dogs but truly welcomes them. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with their four-legged companion.

Cons:

There was nothing that we did not like. We had a wonderful stay.
