Pros:

The location and the room

Cons:

Poor Vegan choice on the menus. In fact as I pointed out to them there were no vegan options on their evening menu

Pros:

Idyllic location
The staff you employ are lovely and helpful

Cons:

The room was ok ,but I did book a twin beds instead I got a double bed. I noticed that there wasn't eanaff sockets only two ,if you unplug the phone which took one of the sockets.
The room was pretty hot because of this Gorourges weather we are having, the one electric fun you provided didn't seem to cool the room at all especially being on the 3 floor.
Other wise ,the hotel is lovely and in a beautiful idyllic location.

Stunning setting for a peaceful stay.
Pros:

Spacious bedroom (no.47) with recently updated bathroom; quiet at night - some noise from the golfers below in the daytime. Breakfast was very good, as was the service - speedy and efficient without being obsequious. Beautiful gardens and valley walk down to the Helford River and coastal path. Good-sized swimming pool and superb sauna. Somewhat isolated if you want a base for touring, but if you just want a few days to play golf/tennis, visit some nearby NT and other gardens and walk the coastal path, it's ideal.

Cons:

A housekeeping error: unwashed coffee cups in the room, at which the lady on the front desk blew her top! (I could hear her on the phone, and it was rectified within minutes.) So... almost a plus point!
In the public rooms and the part of the hotel where we stayed the decor was great, but some corridors en route to the leisure area looked a bit grubby. There was a notice to the effect that a major update is underway.

Mixed experience
Pros:

The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout my visit. The food was also a highlight: dinner was very good, and breakfast was enjoyable, though serving coffee in a full pot rather than by the cup from a machine would have been a welcome improvement.

Cons:

My room was east-facing and became unbearably hot during the warm weather. While the staff kindly lent me a fan when I mentioned the issue, it unfortunately didn't help much. If you are visiting during the summer, I would recommend requesting a room that doesn't face the morning sun or checking ahead regarding the cooling options.
