The beds where comfortable, clean, nice white crisp bedding, beautiful room very spacious. Breakfast was lovely, hosts very attentive. Guaranteed parking space is a win. Tram right across the road easy to get into town. Its nice and quiet. Brilliant place to stay. Will definitely be back.

Breakfast great .clean and tidy. Chris made us very welcome. Location was in a great place close to the trams and buses and a stones throw from the beach ⛱️ will return next year. A very happy place to stay thanks Chris 😊

The Fossil Tree was spotless in a quiet location we got a day pass for the tram to get in and out the centre,they have an honesty bar if you want a wee drink, we couldn’t fault the breakfast ( lovely scrambled egg) the proprietors are lovely and there if you need them, we found the room very comfortable and had a great nights sleep, thanks again Chris and Chrissy
Couldn’t fault the Fossil Tree
The location was ideal, right across the road from the tram and 10 minutes into the centre of Blackpool. The hotel faces the sea and coastal walkway, some nice pubs and restaurants around the corner. We had a warm welcome from Chris and we felt very well looked after; the hotel is very comfortable and spotlessly clean, our room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious - and very good coffee! We slept really well in a comfy bed, it was quiet and relaxing. I really can't see how it could have been improved. Blackpool centre can be very loud and busy, we were far enough away to have peace and quiet but it was so easy to get into the centre.
There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.

Perfect location - far enough out of town to be away from the hustle, but right opposite a tram stop, so you can jump on and ride into town, or the other way a for quieter time
We really really enjoyed our mini break here, which was majorly down to the hosts - who guided us to good places to eat and had so much knowledge about places we wanted to visit.
We will definitely go back there

Quiet vicinity, clean spacious rooms, with ensuite shower and toilet, nice and warm.
Free car park, tram station within walking distance - 3 minutes walk. Very convenient tram service to and from interesting places, view the sea at most tram stops, tram service ends about half past 11 or so at night. Nice sandy beaches, and lots of entertainment places for both adults and children.
Very good breakfast service at the hotel, including a bar for those who want to relax over a drink in the lounge/dining area. Hosts, a lovely couple, are on call any time. Very friendly hosts, very knowledgeable of the area, very helpful.
We would recommend this hotel to others, and we certainly would go back there again.
We didn't like it when it rained for a couple of hours on our first day. No one's fault though, we knew it would rain as we'd checked the weather forecast before we set off to enjoy the day at the north pier!
Great breakfast quality ,very friendly staff nothing was too much trouble
The room was a bit cold as the radiator was not working properly but did not mention it until we left so probably as much our fault
Chris, the host, provided a warm and informative welcome to our 2 night stay. We were very pleased with our room which had an extremely comfortable bed, decent ensuite, new TV and well stocked tea tray. The highlight was the lovely freshly cooked breakfast and the friendly and efficient service that came with it. We hope to return soon.

We had the most lovely weekend away. The room was lovely spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and quiet, which is just what we wanted. Chris was really pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend 100%
We would also recommend the comedy club behind the tower. It was so funny, amazing night.
Chris was very friendly and welcoming on arriva informative with info about local transport anc places to visits. The room that we staved in was excellent so comfortable and cosy with a lovely view of the sea and the illuminations at niaht Rooms are very nicely decorated. Particularly loved the table lamp and seats in the bav window. The shower was exceptionally gooo excellent power and good heat also very handy having a separate toilet from the shower in the room. Bed was very comfy with a nice decent sized TV on the wall perfect for a lying in bed watching a film after a day exploring. Room was also very clean and fresh with a good tea tray Breakfast was delicious with a qood choice and very well cooked. Excellent selection of fruit iuices too. Chris was again very friendly during the breakfast service taking the time to get to know guests. We also enjoyed hearing what others were planning to do and exchanging how thinas had went the dav before at breakfast Loved the location awav from the hustle and bustle but tram stop only about 2 mins from door and the tower stop is about 10 minutes from there
Hiqhly recommend, we are hoping to return next year. I
