Best Western Lagoon, Manado een goed hotel!
Pros:

Mooie slaapkamers en elke dag werden onze kamers schoon gemaakt en voorzien van schone beddengoed en handdoeken.

De service is uitstekend en vriendelijk personeel die graag tot je dienst staat.

Algemene indruk schoon en hygiënisch.

Cons:

Het is een mooi hotel, echter schort het er hier en daar wel het een en ander aan onderhoud. We hadden er geen last van maar als het onderhoud steeds achterwege blijft, zal men het wellicht aan de reviews merken.

Toeristen zullen uiteindelijk hun verblijf beoordelen op basis van hygiëne en netheid. Hierdoor zullen de overige zaken die wat minder gewaardeerd zouden worden, vaak door de vingers gezien worden.

einmal und nie wieder-personal aber nett

personal hat sein bestes gegeben und war sehr freundlich.
ausblick aus dem fenster.

Cons:

bettwäsche und handtücher schmutzig. bad kalkig und schlecht gereinigt, duschhebel ist abgefallen.

im ganzen zimmer roch es muffig. vor ein fenster, das auf die klimaanlage ging, wurde ein selbst gemaltes bild gehängt, das fenster schloss aber nicht richtig, dadurch kam lärm durch. generell waren die fenster unglaublich dünn, dadurch war es extrem laut von der strasse (verkehr - mopeds, gesinge, musik von den food trucks). und das im 10. stock.

wir wollten per room service was bestellen, nichts was wir wollten war verfügbar. kein cola, kein mineralwasser. essen hat ewig gedauert, war dann kalt.

klimaanlage unglaublich laut, ohne unglaublich heiß im zimmer.

frühstück war ok, die eierstation möchte ich hervorheben. wir waren recht früh, da war alles noch da.

poolbereich lieblos und schlecht gereinigt, das gesamte stockwerk ungepflegt. strandpromenade verkommen.

in asien habe ich um weniger geld deutlich schöner übernachtet. wir waren froh, dass wir nur eine nacht hatten und ich kann nur sagen: einmal und nie wieder (in manado ist es aber generell schwierig).

Exceptional service. The staff were very kind and helpfull. Food was great as well. Located on the beach and near many good shops and two malls which we visited.

There was a 7.6 earthquake that happened during my stay. Scary but the staff were fantastic!
Pros:

The staff was amazing. Everyone everywhere I went said hello and even knew my name. Made me feel very welcome. Also they couldn't have been more helpful.

Cons:

Food in the restaurant could have been better but the staff/servers were so good that I came back more than once for dinner even if the food could've used some work. They had a cream of asparagus soup the first night I was there that was out of this world good! But they never had it again. :(

Der Pool war nicht benutzbar, da absolut dreckig! Auch die Pool Umgebung war in einem schlechten Zustand. Genauso wie der Boden im Zimmer. Wir mussten auch direkt das housekeeping holen, um unser Bett neu zu beziehen, da überall Haare waren.

More than decent for a short stay.
Pros:

Seaview. Comfortable room. Lots of light controls etc in the room. Window facing desk that was great for work.

Cons:

Bathroom a bit small and cramped for a room that size, and there wasn’t really anywhere to walk to from this hotel. Breakfast had a seemingly huge variety but most of it didn’t look good or appropriate for breakfast, so we were limited for options.

Ontbijt was redelijk, fruit had beter gekund (rijper) en vaker aangevuld. Hopelijk is dit een volgend keer wat verbeterd.

Cons:

Kolintang muziek is mooi en typisch Manado. Maar elke ochtend hetzelfde nummer gaat wat vervelen. Afwisseling met andere nummers is denk ik voor zowel gasten als personeel wat gezelliger.

The front desk service was exceptionally good.
Pros:

The room I booked initinally wasn't to my liking. I decided to upgrade my room and with the help of the hotel this was made possible. The front desk service was exceptionally good. The sea view room was amazing. Any issues where immediatly picked up and either fixed, temporarily fixed or not fixed. The bed was big enough for 6.3ft but the shower wasn't.

Cons:

The smoking room had wear and tear. It also had a sewage smell in the bathroom.
The door lock didn't work properly and the shower head holder was loose and as a result when turning on the shower, the it would spray into the bathroom.
