Brilliant - couldn't fault
Pros:

Kyla and Martin are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to visit in the area. Breakfast choices are fab. Fresh fruit platters are really lovely. Would not hesitate to book to stay again if in the area

Amazing hosts, everything first class

Everything 1st Class, breakfast exceptional with so much choice and beautifully presented. The hotel is very welcoming, spotlessly clean and the decor throughout is of a high standard. Kyla and Mark are fantastic hosts and went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable

A truly fabulous hotel run by Kyla and Martin, lovely people, who go out of their way to make you feel at home and comfo
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel where every attention to detail has been paid from the wonderful white fluffy towels to the fabulous breakfasts freshly made to order. A bonus is the fabulous pool, set in a stunning garden which is both peaceful and relaxing. A lovely suntrap for lazing, reading books, taking a dip or simply doing nothing.
All in all this is an amazing gem hidden in the hills very close to Torquay and close to other beautiful nearby villages and very good restaurants.

Cons:

It’s near impossible to find a comment. The charge point in the car park is a welcome asset, tho tricky to use!

We had such a great stay on our first trip to Torquay…and the Devon made it special.

Our hosts could not do enough for us. Answered pre visit question, good parking, nice welcome made it a great start.

The room was spotless and comfortable…even in the heat, the room was still comfortable. The room was big, well cared for and pleasant.

The breakfast…I looked forward to breakfast everyday. Everyone at the b&b pretty much eats together and gives people a chance to talk…something that is missing in society these days. Add to that superb food, great options and the “joke of the day”…breakfast was more of an event than just a brekkie.

Walking into town was a little hilly…but not too bad. But again, our hosts gave us hints and tips on routes.

Finally, the pool. This is why we booked and we were not disappointed. It is heated, spotless and surrounded by sunny and shady areas with sun beds and chairs.

The host clearly take huge pride in their property and what they do-and this makes for a perfect please to stay.

Pros:

Kyla and Martin were very welcoming everywhere was nice and clean .Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and alot to choose from and a joke of the day thrown in as well.The Origin room was presented in a very clean manner and a very comfy bed .
The pool area was beautiful nice and quiet and there is no early wake ups to get your bed by the pool .The gardens are well tendered there is also bat and balls to play in the pool along with the duck .
They even kept my knee freezer pack in the freezer after recovering from a knee replacement.

There are alot of rubber ducks situed which is very amusing.

A perfect place to stay for our perfect weekend
