We had a wonderful stay! We absolutely loved the location, and the entire hotel staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly

The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay! Although the rooms were a bit small, they were exceptionally clean, and the entire hotel was spotless and well-maintained. We truly appreciated the wonderful hospitality! I loved the location and convenience of where the hotel is located in Kyoto.

Nice hotel in the center of Gion with public bath (that is NOT onsen) and snacks served for hotel guests in the middle of the day

Cons:

For this price the room is absolutely not worth it. It's small, Gion is not well communicated with rest of the Kyoto and the public bath that hotel is known for is not real onsen. We were asked day 1 how often we want our room to be cleaned (sic!). For this money it should be cleaned everyday - no questions asked. Also the hotel account was hacked and somebody reached out to me on whatsapp with all details of my reservation asking for credit card information - they blame booking but how come no other hotel has this issue?

Super accueil, et le bain chaud est incroyable. L’hôtel est beau on s’y sent bien il est également très bien situé. Les lits sont très grands et très confortables.
