The location is great

Cons:

Generally the hotel is very catered towards tourists and kind of mimics everything that a proper japanese Ryokan would have but in a cheaper and worse way. The onsen is not very welcoming without light etc., the Yukatas looked like cheap Pyjamas and the lobby follows that pattern.

Also, the check in procedure took significantly too long (about 45 minutes for reading everyone through a sheet that could have been attached to a mail).

Some of the staff members were nice, others weren't. Also definitely not up to the standard I would expect from a japanese Hotel.

Pros:

The location is great with restaurants and bus stops within walking distance.

Cons:

There are only 2 washers and 2 dryers for the entire hotel. That was not nearly enough. People were waiting 10 deep to use the washer and dryers. Not good. There was one man on staff that was not friendly but the rest were.

Einfach alles! Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit im Kyoto Grandbell Hotel! Das Zimmer war schön und sauber, die Mitarbeitenden freundlich und der Onsen super! Auch die Lage ist einfach perfekt!

Cons:

Wenn ich wirklich etwas suchen müsste, dann würde ich mir eine Waschmaschine samt Trocknungs-Bad im Zimmer wünschen. Das hatte ich nun in einigen Hotels und fand das super praktisch.
