Great Family Room with a Few Plumbing Issues
Pros:

Accessible location to nearby restaurants and malls. They got spacious and decent rooms good value for your money.

Cons:

The sink tap only seemed to dispense very hot water, and the cold water did not work despite several attempts to adjust it. In addition, both the sink and bathtub drained very slowly, causing water to accumulate and take quite a while to clear. Hopefully these issues can be addressed, as they would improve the overall guest experience.

Great hotel with huge bedrooms and comfortable beds
Pros:

The staff as always are so friendly, the rooms are huge with very comfortable beds.

Cons:

The swimming pool area could do with a makeover. Having said that my daughter loves the pool area.

I'm satisfied with my stay
Pros:

The food is just enough but we'll balanced nutritious and delicious. The room is spacious and very comfortable.requests for assistance from the staff are promptly given..the hotel is near a nice tuna restaurant .and also a nice 24 hour bistro

Cons:

The American bully dog should have been allowed to loiter around for a little while for dog lovers like me..that's all

The property is great as some show they are more than reality, their photos and reviews are true. This is the most comfortable location in Butuan.

Great for a short stay.
Pros:

The hotels location is great. The breakfast was good enough.( typical Filipino breakfast). Employees are very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Single room very small and no windows. Good for a one night stay.
The swimming pool have little shades and no lounge chair or sunbed where one can read a book and relax.

The Grand Palace Hotel failing to deliver basic hotel requirements
Pros:

The hotel was once Grand and I can see why that name is in the title. The rooms were a good size. The pool was very good. The security guards were friendly and helpful

Cons:

Unlike most Philippines hotels, the staff here were not friendly. The rooms though big were not good. The Air Con was noisy, the floor not clean. The TV worked some of the time, but the channels went down during the day. The one lift worked and then stopped working. The place was overrun on Sunday with some external function causing chaos. The breakfast didn't cater for western tastes. No tea only coffee. But the worse thing was on my second night of the stay, I shared my room with three large cockroaches. I checked out the next day. One day early. The staff were uninterested.

there is a lot of coackroach in the room. once the curtains is moved, you will see all the little cockroach hiding underneath the curtains. an employer bring in sprayer for the bugs.

Price is friendly. Recommended for tourist like me.

Food and pool. The staff are friendly and the 2 dogs nice. Thank you

Cons:

No shower curtain in room 102. Maybe HK forget to put. The hotel it self is beuatiful.
