A slightly shabby cottage in a great spot with excellent breakfast

A very good location, in the middle of nature but with shops and restaurants nearby. An excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Our little cottage was really in need of refurbishing. I saw other cottages redone and much nicer, I wonder if people pay the same price as for ours?

Cabin experience was wonderful.
Pros:

What a nice hotel just outside of Egilsstadar! We stayed in one of the cabins adjacent to the hotel, and loved it. The owner gave us a short tour around the hotel, showed us some of his photographic artwork, and encouraged us to risk the trip over the snowy mountain pass to see the puffins. My wife bought some hand-knitted socks in the lobby. Our dinner in the restaurant was outstanding, as was the breakfast. We would have loved to stay another night, but the schedule would not allow it.

Good breakfast, nice place

The bungalow was not heated, it was not cleaned and the door of the bungalow had a gap and it was blowing and you could hear it as if you were outside.
