Excellent in every way.
Pros:

Myself and my wife have visited this hotel on many occasions, the last time being approximately four years ago, and the overall holiday experience was excellent. Both Paul and Vicki were superb hosts with nothing being too much trouble for them. The cleanliness and decor of the hotel were outstanding and the breakfast first rate using local produce.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike.

We would come back again. We loved the Isle of Wight. Everywhere is accessible from Shanklin.
Pros:

The hotel has a nice feel to it and the owners are extremely friendly and take good care of their customers

Cons:

Parking is a challenge when the hotel is full. The rooms are not air conditioned and therefore can get stuffy in hot weather. We planned ahead and brought a fan with us.

Pros:

Very clean. Modern bedroom and bathroom. Excellent shower

Cons:

We booked late and could only get a standard room which was small but had a patio which was very useful in the heatwave. The rooms with balconies did look very nice.

As described would return.
Pros:

Great staff. Good location. Very clean. Good room even with no sea view. Comfy bed & newly re furnished shower.

Cons:

The only very small issue was the TV lost its signal but didn’t impact our stay.

Probably the best hotel in Shanklin
Pros:

Great owners Paul and Vicki who really look after you and nothing is too much truble

Cons:

The room was great and the staff went the extra mile to make your stay special

Very comfortable and lovely location.
Pros:

Breakfast was first class. Pool was definitely a bonus! Lounge area lovely.

Cons:

I would only suggest that pool area needs more beds/umbrellas especially given that weather predicted to have more extreme temperatures.

Great hosts, hotel and location
Pros:

Just spent three nights at the Havelock. On arrival we were met by both Paul and Vicky who were both very friendly and welcoming. The room had a sea view as was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too - buffet as well as made to order hot choices - delicious. The location was very good - plenty of good restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Brilliant place to stay when visiting the isle of wight. Where your genuinely made to feel welcome.
Pros:

Everything about our stay at the Havelock was better than we had hoped, you know how you read peoples reviews of a place only to be a bit disappointed when you get there, well the Havelock is not like that. Paul and Vicky are very welcoming and are happy to chat and and listen. We travelled by motorbike and the parking is safe right next to the front door. There is a bar and a swimming pool on site, the room was very clean and made up each day and the breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice of hot and cold food. We would not hesitate to recommend the Havelock.

Homely and welcoming.
Pros:

We were made so welcome and our hosts went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with everything. There was a really nice atmosphere in the hotel. It was clean and the interiors of the bedrooms and bathrooms were modern. There was a relaxed bar downstairs with a TV and it was the sort of place you could feel completely comfortable in, even going in on your own. The pool was nice. The front garden was beautiful and the sea views breathtaking. The breakfasts were great and cooked to order. My friend and I would be delighted to stay at the hotel again in the future. Convenient for the promenade restaurants and also for the high street restaurants.

Fantastic stay highly recommend.
Pros:

Owners were fantastic very helpful and friendly they went out of there way to help.As we were leaving early they made us a fantastic sausage sandwich to take with us which was much appreciated.
