Great budget hotel - did its job well!
Pros:

we needed it for close proximity to the bus station for an early morning coach, and it was 5 minutes walk. Even better (and unexpected!) was to get to the station we had to go through the farmers market and food market, which were fab. Also just a few mins from the old town!

Cons:

We stayed in a boiling hot room but had a window open all night which helped, only downside being next to the market is that people set up pretty early in the morning. That’s our only ‘complaints’

Рига покорила, прием отличный
Pros:

Впервые в Риге. Очень довольна, что выбрала этот небольшой отель. Приветливо встретили. Номер очень чистый, белье белоснежное. Горячая холод вода постоянно.стол обеденный, чайник, чашки. Удобные спальные места. Отличный WiFi. Ежедневная уборка. Чисто везде. Можно оставить багаж на хранение после выезда. В шаговой доступности автовокзал, ж/д вокзал, река с теплоходиками и катерами. Протяни руку, и окажешься на самом большом европейском рынке. Хочу заметить, что он не нарушает тишину и месторасположения отеля. И старая Рига: обошла все пешком. Если пройти от 10 до 15 минут, можно обнаружить супермаркеты, и далее ТЦ. И все что пожелаете. Пообедать можно совсем рядом. Кафе в этом же здании. Приятных путешествий!

Cons:

Неудобно расположены розетки, или надо добавить хоть одну, возле стола. Хотелось бы хоть маленький ТВ.

la stanza era pulita, il personale anche era accogliente e gentile

Cons:

troppo vicino al mercato, l' attorno non è un posto carino, la gente dentro sono chi lavora al mercato. Più adatto ai lavori del mercato, anziché i turisti.

Location was a bit awkward after the market closed (surroundings are just warehouses). Lots of journeymen, exotic food smells in common arras might bother someone.

Pros:

Struttura adiacente agli hangar del mercato centrale di Riga

Cons:

Purtroppo gli arredi negli spazi comuni e nelle camere appaiono datati ed estremamente consumati: il letto scricchiolava, il divano era logoro e consumato al punto da non poter nemmeno fungere da letto (tra l’altro non era nemmeno un divano letto e la receptionist dopo nostra segnalazione ci ha fornito un materasso da posizionare sopra e che abbiamo dovuto preparare noi con le lenzuola forniteci). La rifinitura in similpelle del divano era scrostata e screpolata al punto che si sfaldava al tocco, lasciando residui sulle mani. Lo schienale, ricoperto da coperte logore e ampiamente utilizzate da chissà quanti ospiti precedenti, disincentivava l’uso, rendendo impossibile rilassarsi senza sentirsi a
disagio.
I mobili erano graffiati e la pavimentazione in finto parquet era in più punti sbeccata, con bordi scheggiati che rischiavano di far inciampare creando, col soffitto crepato ed artigianalmente rattoppato con un pannello di plastica, un senso di incuria profonda.

Inoltre dalla cucina a disposizione degli altri ospiti provenivano intensi odori di cottura a tutte le ore, visto che è posizionata proprio vicino alla tromba delle scale che fa da camino e diffonde verso i piani superiori gli intensissimi odori di cottura.

L’utenza dell’hotel è esclusivamente maschile e gli spazi comuni e i corridoi erano spesso occupati da questa clientela che bivaccava sui divani malconci, chiacchierando ad alta voce e a volte ingombrava i passaggi per pregare in corridoio davanti alle porte delle stanze rendendoci difficile l’accesso alla nostra camera. Questo creava un’atmosfera poco accogliente e disturbante, specialmente per chi cercava relax o privacy.

A pleasant stay
Pros:

The location near to the central market. Also near to the old town. Easily access to the public transport and also near to Riga bus station.

There is no proper window. Only a small one but it is coloured glass. Cannot see outside
