Our experience was just divine. The staff - extremely generous with each detail. The valet service, the doorman, receptionist, the housekeeper, each staff member was meticulous.

We are local and wanted to treat ourselves to stay at this historic hotel. The location is perfect for getting around VB ocean front; however, it is not needed because the hotel basically as everything. The room was beautiful and comfortable. It was pricey, but that is to be expected from a luxury hotel on the beach. I highly recommend coming in the off-season as the price is much more reasonable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are so many restaurants to pick from to eat, and they are well-appointed. Reservations are a must no matter what time of the year. The whole hotel is spotless - the pool, the spa, the rooms. Just a very festive, yet calm experience overall. I highly recommend for out of towners or locals

Came to the Cavalier for a family vacay with my littles. It was great. Definitely a low effort, high fun vacation. The Cavalier is conveniently located across the street from the beach. Loved the beach resort. All staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to Robert, Carlos, Kevin, Gabrielle, Mara. Definitely will return. Solid 4 star hotel with the extras that makes it luxury.

My family and I vacationed at the cavalier hotel this summer and had an amazing time. The service was exceptional and the food was fresh and great quality. Our housekeeper, Mara, was outstanding, polite, and nice to my family, especially my children. The beach club was always well kept and the staff were super friendly. We plan to make this an annual trip!

The Cavalier Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms are beautiful, but it’s the amazing people who make it so special. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel welcome and valued. I always look forward to coming back.

I was here for a business dinner presentation so I just want to submit a review on that experience. The stairs are a little challenging after walking 15 mins down the boardwalk to get there, but the grounds are beautiful. The staff were very nice and the food was delicious! The salad was presented very creatively, but a little dry (more dressing needed), but the steak and lobster, mashed potatoes and veggies were amazing. The dessert was ok (I’m not a chocolate fan), but it was tasty. Overall phenomenal dinner.

Cavalier Hotel has been our Summer destination for years. It continues to deliver an amazing experience - where atmosphere, dining, beach and pool activities seamlessly come together. Thank you Lars, Valerie and entire staff for always going above and beyond!

Beautiful renovated resort, my AC in my room broke several times, they ended up moving my room. However. Kiara and Solano were outstanding in helping me with the logistics and making sure I was taken care of. You have some fantastic girls taking care of your customers. Love the renovations and the location. Thank you, Desmond for your assistance with the repair. And thank you again to the team for making something miserable into a tolerable situation!

I can’t say enough good things about Kiara at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. She helped me countless times, even when I made mistakes with my room arrangements, and she handled everything with incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism.

She not only helped fix things in the moment, but also took the time to explain everything so I wouldn’t make the same mistakes next time. Her willingness to help and make sure we had the best experience truly stood out. She even helped make our stay extra special with an upgrade, which meant a lot as we were celebrating my wife’s birthday.

Kiara genuinely helped make this trip memorable. She didn’t just do her job, she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. People like Kiara are what make a hotel experience exceptional. She is a huge asset to the team, and we are grateful for everything she did to make our visit so special.

Liked everything very much except the Hours opening closing of bars/restaurants. Closing the lobby bar at 10 is frustrating. And the Raleigh Room closed a bit earlier than stated 11p

The location, the beach club, restaurants. The staff was great and room was wonderful.

The hotel has a serious problem—bedbugs! I woke up in the morning covered in bites from these insects. Take a look at the attached photos.

The Cavalier Hotel on the surface is great. BUT we booked a Heritage one bedroom suite. At check in they gave us Suite 202 and were told that it was a great room (we all have heard that before). We get to the suite. 202 and our view is the rooftop of indoor pool and HVAC stuff. Plus suite 202 is right above the Raleigh lounge. The noise from the crowds and music from the Raleigh lounge was awful so if you’re a light sleeper or want to go to bed early, do not accept this suite. Plus the four windows looking out on the roof and HVAC have see through shades and light pour in the morning; they need room darkening shades. The door into the bedroom won’t stay open. This suite has a large double vanity but only one sink and the open area below doesn’t have any place to store your toiletries.

The suite 202 at over $1,000 per night is not worth it. They should be honest at check in regarding the awful view and noise from below Raleigh lounge. We complained and asked to change, but supposedly nothing available (how many of us have heard that before?). The supervisor did supposedly gave us a $100 credit for our troubles.

Would I stay here again? Probably not (definitely not in suite 202). I’m a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member and even being placed in this room was very disappointing.

We had to move rooms after we found mold over our bed. Wife had a headache every morning. In the room they moved us to, we had no hot water for hours in the morning. The staff the entire time were lazy, passive aggressive, and apathetic.

When I was asking about a couple of charges when I checked out, the gal decided to tell me, completely off topic, that engineering could not find any mold in the room I moved out of.

I asked her what the point of that comment was, besides to call me a liar, and she just smirked and said “just letting you know.”

Becca has HORRIBLE service and the food is mid.

Hospitality staff are anything but. Valets are awesome. Carlo and Brock are dope.

Sadie, was responsive and friendly. She also engaged in friendly conversation. The amenities at the beach club are second to none. I, for one, plan on taking advantage this summer.

Jessita was a very nice person she made my 9th birthday feel so special!!!❤️
