Very convenient to the nearby UPMC Hospitals; it was a relaxing place to stay.
Pros:

The breakfast offerings and eating area were both above average. The suite room was spacious and quiet even though it was across the hall from the elevator.

Cons:

The check-in and parking process weren't well detailed when we made our reservation. We ended up in the hospital parking garage across the street before calling the front desk who helped us figure things out. Pull into the alley at the corner of the hotel to check in and then the parking garage was directly across the alley from the hotel. Very convenient parking once we understood where it was actually at.

Cons:

The room was located next to the elevator. We asked to move and the front desk person said all of the double bed rooms were next to the elevator. Room was not clean. You could see in the bathroom where it was swept and left in a corner.

Pros:

The hotel was close to everything & we were able to walk everywhere in Oakland. The room was a good size & very clean. The customer service is great as well. We would stay here again.

Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the pillows were good
Place was cleaned

Cons:

The lady at front desk wasn't very friendly. They never told me anything about an extra 30 dollars taken out on top of the 22 parking garage fee which I was told and paid on the spot then I check out the next day at 4:41am I had it pop on my phone that $30 had come out of my account
I call and told them what going on and it was to be back in my account that has been 5 days so far and still shows pending not refunded
