Great location…wouldn’t return unfortunately
Pros:

Location was good. Great not having to carry a key card!

Cons:

The damp feeling of the bedding, pillows were really uncomfortable and very odd having a roll top bath in the middle of the room!

Breakfast at the pub next door which is part of the group was dire. Looked lovely, tasted awful. Similarly the lunch and dinner too sadly.

Great stay as a base to enjoy the cricket at Edgbaston
Pros:

High quality place to stay just as expected as a return visitor. Beautiful rooms with high quality linens, towels, bathrooms. Easy check-in and check-out by door code. Off-street parking.

Cons:

I would suggest that the bed mattresses are updated

Pleasantly surprised at how nice and relaxing our stay was. Breakfast was top!!

Family stay at Highfield
Pros:

For our family stay we had 3 rooms all of which were good. The small double was actually a decent size. Comfortable stay overall.

Cons:

Some noise from other guests, not fault of the venue but there is no one on site to speak to about any issues if they arise.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

My room was beautiful, very clean and well presented. The checkin procedure was simple and effective. Staff - both in the pub at breakfast and cleaning staff were welcoming and pleasant.
I didn’t have breakfast only coffee and a croissant, which was lovely. Car park system is excellent. Loved my stay and would recommend this hotel to any one visiting Birmingham.

Cons:

There could be a full length mirror somewhere in the room.

Peaceful , luxury hideaway in lovely suburb
Pros:

The room was beautiful ; lovely high ceiling , comfortable bed, tasteful decor and furniture and I loved the hare theme . It had all the facilities needed . It was easy to access , spotlessly clean and quiet. The lounge with nespresso machine was a lovely addition too . The restaurant in the pub next door was superb and the breakfast was fabulous .

Lovely characterful hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Lovely boutique hotel, with period features complemented by modern decor. Spacious bay-windowed bedroom, large comfy bed, modern bathroom. The keyless entry system worked well and all communication was excellent. Breakfast at the pub next door was very good. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we needed a hotel in Birmingham.

Cons:

Service in the restaurant was slightly slow on our first morning. But only a minor niggle.
