Over all it was a nice scape from the city and we all had a great time
Pros:

It’s very close to the ocean to where you can hear the waves. Large windows with panoramic view.

Cons:

This was my second time staying and I am some what of an average build and I had a hard time using the water commode that was at a low setting and tight space for me to maneuver.

For a budget motel it was acceptable.
Pros:

Location. Also, we couldn't understand how to operate the fireplace/heater, front office and maintenance were promptly responsive.

Cons:

Room 106 could have been cleaner. (carpets, light switches had stuff on them that I cleaned up, kitchen counters and stove, cloth chairs could have used cleaning, cleaning issues like that) Shower floor had skid tap that was worn backwards which was uncomfortable and scraped the bottom of my feet. You can see the coastal weather has taken a toll on the complex. Plus we were on the bottom floor with upstairs neighbors just walking across floors was very loud.

Great place to stay, but needs a few things updated.
Pros:

Great location, views and access to the beach. We love that the cottage rooms allow us to bring our dog with us to the beach, and the walls are pretty soundproof (we never hear other dogs barking). The amenities were great, cable tv, streaming ability, toiletries, etc. The full kitchen allows for cooking meals and there’s plenty of space for a family of 4 in the 2 bd cottages.

Cons:

The fridge didn’t seem to get cold enough even after resetting it/unplugging it and plugging it back in. Out of caution, we had to throw away many leftovers due to the uncertainty of if they were kept cold enough. Room 232 has a very old bathroom window that was tricky to open and close, and would prefer an updated window or a bathroom fan. The front door also needs replacing as it has a huge gap at the bottom allowing air and sound to pass through. It was also a surprise to us that there is a unit above this particular cottage, so it was a little noisy when neighbors were up walking around late at night.
