Just stayed overnight for an event nearby. Have stayed here for same event last year. Nice quirky pub, we like it. Room and bathroom were big and light, really good feel overall.
There was not much water pressure and no hot water.
Didnt use the restaurant was visiting family
Always good here.

Lovely country hotel with loads of British charm, very convenient for getting the church for a wedding. Offstreet free parking was great. Award winning pies were amazing!
The smell of fried chips that came through the window of our room from the extractor fan.
Great staff
Bed was small
Character and flowers
Lovely old hotel with a myriad of rooms in the bar and restaurant area. Friendly welcome and help with storing our bikes. Positioned overlooking the market square but we had a quiet stay. Can’t comment on dinner as we ate out with local friends.
Breakfast was a little disappointing as few options apart from full English buffet. But tea was excellent and I made a bacon butty
Great location...booked to stay local for sons wedding. Hotel was very accommodating letting us check in early, so we were able to get changed amd get to the wedding in time. Room was lovely...bed quite soft, but thst was okay. Bathroom was big and fairly basic but clean
Breakfast was very nice...good selection. All staff very welcoming and helpful.
Shower temp was only warm, even with hot tap on fully and no cold ....
Old fashion charm, location was good and free parking on site
Was disappointed with the room although clean was no more than a box room and was stuffy unable to open the window, noisy from kitchen fan which kept going all night . Nothing like the photo that we booked.
There is so much history in the building and it was quirky and interesting
Great location.Friendly staff
Lovely sized room, staff really friendly, amazing breakfast. Such good value for money.

The location was great for us, right in the middle of the attractions we wanted to go to.
