Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Very good breakfast
There was a horrible smell.in our bathroom but once we informed a member of staff we were quickly moved to a different room
There was plenty room for parking. The bar was excellent and the outside seating area was good. The food was very good.
Mysigt och pittoreskt
Små rum, smala sängar
Mysigt, typisk engelsk atmosfär. Bra mat.
Lite små rum, smala sängar, liten dusch.
Ideal location for our visit to the UK. en-route to Scotland.
No elevator, wife has balance issues, caused some stress, limited staff on duty in evening, no clear reception area.
Clean well presented room. Dinner good quality. Breakfast superb. All staff happy to help
Nothing
The ease of parking made it a good base for visiting Hereford and Tewksbury and a frequent bus service ran into Gloucester from a stop just across the road. The rooms were clean. The restaurant meals were delicious with a varied menu. We have small appetites and were able to share dishes, which made dining a pleasure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite being a busy pub, the rooms were quiet.
The hotel was fully booked when we arrived and our first room was rather small and it was only possible to enter the double bed comfortably on one side BUT after two nights, once a larger room became available with bedside tables on both sides of the bed, we were swapped at no extra charge.
Breakfast excellent. Evening meal very good & value for money.
The TV was broken & the bathroom had a smell of sewage. We did advise someone when we left.
L'emplacement
La propreté
Le breakfast
Le repas du soir.
J'ai tenté une salade Caesar.
20£ pour une salade peu copieuse mais surtout abominable.
Croutons mous, poulet cuit dans l'eau, quasi absence de fromage...une horreur.
Lovely old building - clean and functional room. Nice pub with good (but expensive) food.
Overall good
Staff helpful and welcoming
Very basic room
Dinner was good but they had run out of quite a few options.
After checking in remotely, it wasn't clear where our room was. The room was tiny but functional. We weren't advised that booking a time slot for breakfast was essential, so had to wait an hour. The breakfast staff were complaining that they were short staffed.
Location
Room was really warm -
Staff great. Breakfast superb. Room very clean
Noisy stairs
The location was convenient as a stop off travelling home from Cornwall. I did not like the self service aspect of checking in and out, and the entrances were not very inviting. The room was fine, not noisy. Breakfast was just ok not worth £17.
