Lovely place, friendly people! Great roadside location.
I was traveling without a car, which made it a little more difficult.
The room was very clean and the food great (a little expensive)
We did ask to have a room overlooking g the Motorcycle. But couldnt have been further away.
Very nice old pub with well kept grounds and great value for money.
Nothing really, will definitely visit again.
Lovely old building nice decor good parking
Evening meal was a little small for price paid , shower cubicle small also
Loved the comfort of new sleeping rooms paired with the charm of the very old original section. Excellent food! We had very good breakfasts and dinners.
Absence of any human at check-in! Everything is electronic, right down to magnetizing your own keys. It’s efficient, but not warm or welcoming. No one to ask questions.
Excellent menu and a beautiful old pub. Well located not far off the motorway.
Service was poor. Basically they either need more staff, or waiting staff that know their jobs. Waiting 40 minutes to get a dessert only to have to go to the bar and ask! When you're paying top notch prices you expect top notch Service!
Tidy, compact room. Fairly-priced. Helpful staff. Loved the oak tree in the car park: more should be made of it! Get it dated and draw it to the punters' attempt, extoll its virtues.
Nothing really
Lovely comfortable bed and a good choice of menu for breakfast.
The shower was on the small side with the entry and exit impeded by the positioning of the shower unit!
Great staff
Nothing
Located in a nice part of the country, but on a busy B road. Room was smaller than average. Just glad we opted for a standard room, rather than the small. Food and drinks were good quality.
Pricey by comparison to other places we have visited. Almost £15 for a large house wine and a pint of cider. I think the cheapest main course on the menu (a burger) was £19. It was good, but not up to the price.
Character property and extremely local for my meetings the next morning.
Shower rooms very basic for the price, but that’s being really picky.
