Awesome place in an awesome spot!
Pros:

Pool was fantastic after a day of exploring.
Location was perfect, near most central sights and also lots of small cafes and eateries.
The history is partly why I choose this place though

Cons:

Obviously being an older building the walls are pretty thin but this is to be expected.

Location is perfect. Nice classic building, happy to see that it's being preserved.

Cons:

If you're not on the top floor, it's really quite noisy from your upstairs neighbours. The windows only have shutters so don't really keep the mosquitos out. But hey they have a nice pool.

L'emplacement idéal, le personnel parfait, la qualité de la rénovation de cette vieille demeure qui lui donne un cachet incroyable. La piscine où il fait si bon se délasser...

Cons:

Nous avions une chambre pour 4 AU DERNIER ETAGE, donc sous le toit avec un deux lits en bas et un grand lit en mezzanine. Il devait y avoir une différence de 5 degrés entre les deux niveaux. Pour régler la climatisation c'était un peu la guerre entre ceux du haut et ceux du bas. Évitez cette configuration et tout sera parfait pour vous.

Wir waren 4 Tage in Kuching in diesem Hotel.
Zunächst das Positive: tolle Lage, toller Pool, tolles Kolonialflair und ein absolut fairer Preis.

Cons:

Jetzt das nicht so Gute: unglaublich hellhörige, dunkle, kleine Zimmer. Wir hatten eine Nachbarin mit Husten, es war fast unerträglich laut. Das Frühstück verdient diesen Namen kaum. Nur Toast und etwas Obst. Die Kaffeemaschine arbeitet langsam, sodass man für den Morgenkaffee anstehen muss. Zu wenige Liegen am Pool und Achtung: Viele Treppen!
Insgesamt daher eine durchwachsene Bewertung.

Pros:

La casa i l,entorn es preciosa, i molt ben ambientada en estil rústic.
El desdejuni de cortesia.

Cons:

L, habitació Francis, tenia molta humitat i estava bruta. La finestra no tancava bé. El bany donava al passadís obert on tothom et podia escoltar com anaves al bany.
La piscina tampoc estava neta ni cuidada.
Trobem que li falta manca de manteniment general.

L'emplacement semblait pas mal

Cons:

Entassement de chambre dans un labyrinthe avec escalier hyper pentu. Si vous avez de gros bagages, vous allez souffrir et personne ne viendra vous aider . Climatisation bruyante et qui fonctionne seulement si elle en a envie . Chambre exiguë et lit un peu moisi. Nous nous attendions a un petite pension familiale comme on peut en trouver parfois c'est en fait 40 chambres minuscules avec un semblant pour faire passer la pilule. Si vous avez les moyens , prenez une gamme au dessus, sinon il existe peut être mieux pour ce prix bisou

Relaxed en toch downtown Kuching
Pros:

De plek in Chinatown vlakbij de rivier en op een heuvel is fantastisch. Er zijn veel fijne ruimten in het hotel om te zitten en het zwembad is prettig.

Cons:

De bedden zijn nogal hard en de kamers gehorig. Ook is er een vrij drukke weg die ‘s nachts goed hoorbaar is. Er zijn veel trappen. Van de receptie naar de begane grond zijn het al 48 treden. Het ontbijt is echt heel simpel

Fantastic historic residence with lots of old world charm.
Pros:

loved all the old furnishings, beautiful hardwood timber and historic charm including the old photographs on the walls and the liitle niches to read or relax. The pool was lovely and didnt have too much chlorine.

Cons:

The breakfast didnt have much variety or fruit (ocassionally fruit on some days but not on most) (I don't eat gluten so bread can be an issue for me personally) I also had a problem with the light outside my room vetiallation grill and it let bright light from the exit sign in at night time- which i had to cover with a t-shirt.

Bel établissement bien placé mais mal entretenu
Pros:

Emplacement, piscine, lit confortable, propreté.

Cons:

Une partie de la chambre était sous un escalier en bois donc énormément bruyant à chaque passage, très mal insonorisé nous avons dû demander à 1h du matin au personne de la chambre au dessus d arrêter de parler et déplacer des valises, petit déjeuné vide 20 min avant la fin, on l a signalé à un employé qui n en avait rien a faire et a finit par nous emmener du pain.

Très bon emplacement en plein centre ville.
Bâtisse anglaise avec beaucoup de charme.
Belle piscine. Très belle vue

Goede ligging in kuching

Cons:

Door centrale ligging, verkeer hoorbaar
Het ligt iets ook een heuveltje; dus koffers omhoog tillen via trappen.
