Please note that breakfast is served at The Highlander Hotel, located 328 feet away. The property doesn't have a parking option, but there are two nearby garages, one is Qpark Amsterdam Central (Prins Hendrikkade 20 a, 1012 TL Amsterdam) and Qpark Nieuwedijk (Nieuwezijds Kolk 18, 1012 PV Amsterdam) where you can park and pay or reserve your parking spot in advance online. Airport shuttle is available with an extra fee, if you would like to book a taxi transport we can organize it on your behalf. The cost of a regular car (up to 4 people) is aproximately €65 with an off-peak transit time of 30 minutes or mini-van taxi cost is aproximately €85. From January 2024, Amsterdam will change it's tourist tax on hotel rooms to a flat rate of 12,5%, a change from the previous tax structure of 7% of the room rate plus €3 per person. If your reservation was made prior to January 2024 you will be asked to pay the new City Tax upon arrival to the hotel. If you have any further questions please give us a call or send us an email. Please beware that the credit card owner must be present at arrival with the physical credit card provided for the payment plus identity card or passport for a security check. If the credit card provided for the payment does not belong to the original booker (guest) who will be present at arrival we may mark the credit card as invalid and request an update of a credit card. In case a third party wants to pay for the reservation, it is not a problem, in that case, we kindly ask you to contact us by email and we will send you the link to fulfill the payment via bank transfer. In the case that this payment procedure is not followed, be aware that a different payment method will be requested upon arrival. Please beware that our property is a monumental building from the 17 century and some floors have six to nine, characteristic Amsterdam, steps (no elevator).
A luggage room is available for guests who arrive early.
Guests checking in after 17:00 are required to collect their key from our big sister hotel, The Highlander located across the street, 558 feet from the property. Additional instructions will be provided after booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Cozy apartment in a prime location near Dam Square. Within walking distance to the canals and major attractions meant that we barely had to take any local transport and could walk everywhere. Apartment was clean and functional for a short stay. The breakfast was good.
The toilet was separate from the bath area and a bit cramped. For checkin post 5PM we had to check in at a nearby sister hotel which is a bit inconvenient with luggage.

EL comedor que tiene el hotel al cruzar la calle es estupendo, desayuno y servicio de snacks superB.
The hotel staff was really helpful and friendly. There was a lady at the reception (don't know her name) who was very helpful and guided us with trains etc. We were checked in by Adnan, and he helped us with our super heavy luggage. The room and bathroom were both very spacious, the location was great and the breakfast was decent.

La habitación estaba en un sótano, olía mal, olía entre humedad y orines de gato, todo el ruido se escuchaba, era muy oscuro y tenía acceso complicado
El olor de la habitación, olía a humedad, como a sudor y orines de gatos, los botones para cerrar las cortinas no funcionan bien, igual el de la ducha había que apretarlo fuerte para que funcionara. Igual que el del elevador. Siento que el precio estaba muy elevado a comparación con el alojamiento. A pesar de eso el personal era muy amable y el desayuno estaba delicioso y variado

Solo como crítica constructiva, la limpieza podría estar mejor, era como muy por encima. Y el desayuno queda a una cuadra en el otro hotel, es muuuuy rico, pero cuando llueve es un poco incómodo.
