Eine Zumutung für ein Komfortzimmer
Pros:

Die Lage am Rand der Altstadt

Cons:

Das Komfortzimmer erwies sich als eine dachkammer im zweiten Stock ohne Fahrstuhl.
Das Bad war winzig und hatte auch noch schräge Wände

Hôtel localisé dans le centre de Rothenburg

Cons:

Le petit-déjeuner commence très tard (8h30) et les boulangeries ouvrent tard aussi ce qui n'est vraiment pas pratique (je devais aller travailler à 7h15). Le soir il y a les odeurs du restaurant qui remontent dans la chambre.

Great small hotel and fantastic value
Pros:

What a find this hotel was. It is located within the old city; my room was large, clean, and very quiet; and the staff were pleasant and kind.

Considering the hotel was much cheaper than others in Rothenburg, I was expecting something much more basic -- this was a proper hotel room and great value.

I am very happy to recommend Hotel Schwarzer Adler to others. I stayed there on a driving trip through Europe and this was probably my favourite hotel, especially when value for money is taken into account.

Cons:

No problems at all.

Tolle Lage, aber das war’s auch. Das Zimmer grenzt an einer Zumutung
Pros:

Die Lage ist wunderbar. Für die Umstände war es sauber.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind extrem alt und in keinem guten Zustand. Der Teppichboden ist voller Flecken. Die Tapete ist an vielen Stellen schlecht ausgebessert. Die Dusche macht laute Geräusche. Es ist sehr hellhörig, man hört wenn Leute in anderen Zimmern reden. Die Möbel sind sehr alt.

Die Lage ist super, das Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Wir würden freundlich empfangen, unser Gepäck hoch getragen. Am letzten Tag durften wir unsere Koffer noch an der Rezeption stehen lassen.
