Poor service - and no warning that our rooms were no longer available !

The location was ok

Cons:

When we arrived the receptionist told us that although we had booked a 2bed suite there were no 2 bed suites available due to construction work- I had only settled the payment 2 days previous and nothing was mentioned about this
So they squeezed up into a 1 bed suite with a sofa bed and a roll away bed. These beds were dreadful and had metal springs coming through the mattress - it was horrid and both people in these beds did not sleep at all!

It's a hotel located right next to MIA but the shuttle service between MIA and the hotel was not available. Yes, our flight was relatively late, arriving around 10 PM but the airport was still busy.

The reception staff and shuttle drivers were helpful.
The pool area was well maintained and a relaxing area to spend time.
The breakfast had plenty of variety and the staff kept it replenished.
Handy to have bar meals availability too.
The room was comfortable and soundproofed to enable a good night's sleep despite the hot being so conveniently close to the airport.

Charged Twice for the Same Stay – Very Disappointing Experience
Cons:

I paid for my reservation in full through Booking before arriving at the hotel. When I checked in, I informed the front desk that my stay had already been paid for, but I was told I had to pay again. As a result, I was charged a second time for the full cost of my stay.

I spoke with Hillary about the issue, and I was told there was nothing the hotel could do and that I would need to contact my bank. I found this extremely frustrating, as the hotel should be able to verify whether a reservation has already been paid.

Being charged twice for the same stay caused unnecessary stress and financial inconvenience during my trip. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully review their charges and receipts to ensure they are not billed more than once.

Very disappointed with how this situation was handled.
