we purchased the patio river view and feel like it made the stay that much more awesome. The breakfast was great. A good selection, although it seems to have lost some of the selection on weekends. It was clean and tasted good. The community area was great. We used it quite a bit for family who lives in the area to come visit.
It was clean and well maintained.
The scrambled eggs at breakfast were terrible. Overcooked, burnt, dry, and pebbly.
I personally prefer a firm mattress
Very unhygienic rooms, spiders were crawling on the bed and. Ceilings, no housekeeping provided after addressing the issue, linens were old and smelled.
They didn't care about customer service, very rude
The property was beautifully maintained. The location was great- awesome view of the water. Loved the places to sit outside and all the different gathering spaces inside. Our room was spacious and very clean. One of the best hotels we have stayed in to date.

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I enjoy staying at different properties within the company's portfolio when visiting a particular city. I actually did stay at this location a couple years ago but my travels by train brought me to Schenectady once more so I decided to go for it a second time despite the distance-required Uber ride from downtown.
Just like the original stay, I was able to check-in and choose my room the day before arrival via the app. While I was still aboard my train across New York State, I got the e-mail that my room and Digital Key were ready, so I was all set. I would, however, need to make a stop at the front desk to obtain my spring water.
The location proved to once again be quiet, clean, and the suite was amply sized and there were no problems with WiFi, climate control, or TV. The bathroom had plenty of space for toiletries.
While it's a longer trip from downtown than other Hilton properties, this location is certainly worth it for the atmosphere, location, and room size.
I really appreciated the staff, so courteous. If we needed anything, they were there for us. The room was spotless, and the breakfast was phenomenal. Such great hot food to choose from.
