​Hotel promises parking available. Well, this is true of any place offering street parking, so you may find yourself unable to find a space close to the hotel if arriving at a busy time. This will mean dragging bags a long way to the hotel. And don't expect any sympathy from personnel for this.."You're parked, it's free, so what's the problem?" was the unsympathetic response.

​No AC or other cooling alternative available, so the room temp was a constant 27°C. In peak summer, you may need to sleep with the window open. No fridge. Water sprays onto the floor when showering.

​People moving around in the room above ours made our ceiling creak loudly, so earplugs are essential.

There must be loopholes in the star ranking system, because this wasn't far from a 4-star experience.

Cons:

Il y avait des traces de fiente sur le sol du balcon !
Le prix : À cette saison , tous les hôtels de la côte sont trop chers .

Séjour agréable. nous reviendrons volontiers.

Petits-déjeuners fabuleux avec un service irréprochable.
Petites attentions à l'arrivée et au départ.
Nous avons été upgradés. Un grand merci.

Cons:

L'absence de climatisation dans les chambres en période caniculaire. Mais cela ne gâche pas l'impression générale particulièrement positive sur l'hôtel.

Schöner Kurzurlaub mit kleinen Abstrichen.
Pros:

Hotel in bester Lage von De Haan. Deluxe-Zimmer sind geräumig. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich. Frühstück ist großartig.

Cons:

Keine funktionstüchtige Klimaanlage, nur mobiles Gerät, was es aber nicht schafft das Zimmer zu kühlen. Raumtemperatur lag durchweg bei 27,5 Grad. Deluxe-Zimmer nur mit Badewanne ohne jeglichen Spritzschutz für Duschfunktion.

Ontbijt was ten opzichte van vorig jaar veel minder en werd nauwelijks aangevuld. Voor een diabetespatiënt weinig mogelijkheden. Zelfs geen magere youhurt. Personeel bij ontbijt spreekt bijna geen Nederlands
Terras en bar sluiten om 22u, zelfs in zomer bij heel mooi weer

Pros:

Goede locatie in centrum en dicht bij het strand, erg vriendelijk personeel met welkoms drankje en afscheidsversnapering.

Cons:

Afwezigheid privé parkeerplaats, geen airco op de kamer, vies verouderde (sleetse) vloerbedenking in de gang en op de kamer. Rommelig entree naar kamer door stalling van diverse accessoires (schoonmaak) voor de liftuitgang naar de kamers. De lift is aan buitenkant aan verfbeurt toe, ziet er niet uit!
