Ideaal gelegen in het Centrum, ruim en lekker ontbijt

Cons:

Geen airco in de kamer
Geen eigen parking. Het is gratis parkeren in de straten rondom , maar niet zo handig met bagage.

Un cadre agréable pour prendre l'air et la "fraîcheur" de la mer du Nord par ces temps de canicule
Pros:

Nous connaissions ce bel hôtel à la belle déco avec des belles grandes chambres calmes; par ces temps de fortes chaleurs, le ventilateur a été le bienvenu, la machine à café et les bouteilles d'eau dans la chambre sont appréciables; le jardin de l'hôtel permet de prendre un verre au frais; la gentillesse de l'accueil et de toute l'équipe; le choix de produits du petit déjeuner; évidemment emplacement parfait.

Cons:

quelques points d'attention : améliorer la qualité de certains produits du petit déjeuner; dans la salle de bain avec baignoire, une barre de support du pommeau de douche est nécessaire pour ceux qui ne prennent qu'une douche (et font des économies d'eau); on peut rêver d'une climatisation pour le futur.

No matter what, I will always stay in Astoria.
Pros:

I highly value the team's openness and hospitality, the luxury of peace and quiet (especially at night), the charm of nostalgia, the understated and genuine elegance, and the breakfast.

Cons:

The room had a smelly, dirty carpet, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. It was disgusting. The same went for the railing on the balcony/bay window—you couldn't even lean against it. This was my second stay at the Astoria in De Haan—and certainly not my last—but I get the impression that management isn't checking the quality of room cleaning, or perhaps they only focus on the most expensive rooms. Yet the devil is in the details—and in those smallest rooms.

Der vierte Stern ist bedroht
Pros:

Zentrale Lage. Ansprechende Belle-Epoque Architektur. Freundliches, beim Frühstück teilweise leicht desorientiertes Personal, vermutlich Aushilfen. WLAN funktioniert im gesamten Hotel und auch auf der Terrasse einwandfrei. Jeden Tag gibt es 2 kleine Flaschen Wasser aufs Zimmer, die Nespresso Kapseln werden aufgefüllt. Zur Begrüßung Sekt. Das Zimmer wurde gründlich gereinigt.

Cons:

Das Bad unseres Superior-Zimmers, ansonsten ansprechend groß und renoviert, zierte lediglich eine Badewanne ohne Duschabtrennung. Wer kein Vollbad nehmen möchte, steigt also in die Wanne und versucht, unter der Brause ein wenig nass zu werden, ohne den Raum zu überfluten. Ein für ältere Personen nicht ganz ungefährliches Unterfangen, denn der Wannenboden ist natürlich rutschig. Die Halterung für die Brause hatte sich extrem gelockert - ich würde erwarten, dass man in einem 4-Sterne Haus auf so etwas achtet, aber der Trend geht ja nicht nur hier dahin, dass die angebotenen Leistungen nicht mehr zum Preis passen.
Das Fenster bot einen freien Ausblick auf die Großbaustelle nebenan - für den passionierten Bauingenieur vielleicht hochinteressant, für den Normaltouristen eher nervig. Ohne Ohropax war an Schlaf nicht zu denken.
Der überall verlegte Teppichboden war an vielen Stellen, besonders im Treppenhaus und in den Fluren, stark abgenutzt und fleckig. Weniger ausgeprägt auch im Zimmer, aber auch hier könnte man über einen Ersatz nachdenken.
Das Frühstück würde ich als "Durchschnitt" bezeichnen. Die Eierspeisen schmeckten nach Pappe.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat die 4 Sterne nicht verdient. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig (Kot an der Klopapierhalterung, alles verkalkt). Einige Ausstattungsgegenstände ( Dusche, Lampen, Seifenablage) sind kaputt. Mit ein wenig Mühe wäre das Zimmer gut gewesen.

Cons:

La chaleur suffocante de la chambre ,pas de tenture isolante et ouverte pendant notre absence par le personnel de nettoyage .Mais ce personnel est extra à part cet oubli .

Geweldig al drie jaar op rij! Reeds geboekt voor volgend jaar!
Pros:

Het ontbijt was zo uitgebreid en gevarieerd, voor ieder wat wils! Ook de bediening van koffie en eitjes aan tafel is zeer aangenaam. het feit dat je kan ontbijten tot 10.30u is top!

Cons:

Als ik dan toch een minpuntje moet geven... de tapijten in de gang zijn op sommige plaatsen wel vuil.
