Pros:

Hôtel bien situé, excellent petit déjeuner, amabilité du personnel

Cons:

Hôtel 4 étoiles dépourvu de climatisation, chambres chaudes en cette fin d'été 2025, literie trop ferme à mon goût.

Leuk verblijf maar kan veel beter ..
Pros:

Zeer goede ligging. Ontbijt was lekker .. kamer was proper.

Cons:

Kamer zonder airco. Was veel te warm op de kamer. Veel te kleine voorraad om te douchen.Bediening aan tafel tijdens ontbijt door jong personeel van school zonder toezicht. Soms chaotisch .. geen attentie ontvangen voor verjaardag tijdens verblijf.

Sehr schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage mit reichhaltigem Frühstücksangebot
Pros:

Alt ehrwürdiges Gebäude, Lage des Hotels, gute Hotelbar,
größeres Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstücksangebot

Cons:

Badewanne im Zimmer, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, keine gute Klimaanlage, kein richtiger Schrank ( für den Fall dass man länger bleibt)

Cons:

Kamer was niet schoon en muf, vloerbedekking was bevlekt, in de kamer lagen nog kruimels, er was geen airco en geen koelkast en er waren niet twee slaapkussens. Daarnaast een erg hard bed.

Ontbijt en locatie waren wel goed.

Une très mauvaise expérience - un hôtel à fuir
Cons:

Une expérience absolument inadmissible pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants

Nous avions réservé deux chambres pour notre famille avec deux enfants, dont un enfant de 6 ans.

Au moment du Check-in, nous avons découvert que les deux chambres étaient très éloignées et ne nous permettaient pas d’assurer la sécurité de nos enfants. Nous avons expliqué que cette configuration posait un problème évident pour une famille avec jeunes enfants.

Aucune solution raisonnable ne nous a été proposée et le réceptionniste/manager/barman (le personnel semblant assumer toutes les fonctions…) nous a directement abordé sur un ton très arrogant et inadmissible.

Nous avons alors demandé si la réservation pouvait être remboursée. Cela nous a été refusé et nous avons demandé l’attribution des chambres malgré les risques encourus par nos enfants.


À notre stupéfaction, l’hôtel a alors refusé de nous attribuer les chambres.

Nous nous sommes donc retrouvés « à la rue » vers 22 h avec nos deux enfants.

La situation est ensuite devenue totalement disproportionnée : le réceptionniste/manager a adopté à notre égard une attitude que nous avons vécue comme une véritable politique d’intimidation (menace d’appeler la police pour nous faire évacuer avec nos enfants…). Cette attitude ne s’est pas limitée à un échange désagréable : elle a consisté à nous mettre sous pression, à refuser toute solution raisonnable, puis à nous demander de quitter l’établissement (cette attitude d’intimidation du même manager/réceptionniste a déjà été dénoncée dans d’autres commentaires sur Booking).

Un hôtel n’a aucun droit de mettre un famille en danger en la mettant à la rue en pleine nuit. Hôtel à fuir et management incompétent. Un personnel indigne du passé historique de cet établissement sur le déclin.

The staff was very friendly, the hotel is nice and authentic, very good bar with great cocktails, the hotel staff tries to accomodate to your needs, nice views, spacious room, free parking all around, welcome cava and gift at the checkout were a nice touch

Cons:

Because the hotel is quite old, the rooms are not very soundproof: we could hear our upstairs neighbours walk around during the night which kept us awake every night, there is also only one small elevator on which you have to wait quite long during peak hours. The carpets are quite old and dirty, and there was no fridge in our room

Ein sonniges Wochenende in De Haan mit einem hervorragenden Aufenthalt im Hotel Astoria.
Pros:

Wir wurden im Hotel Astoria sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen und haben uns besonders über den Begrüßungssekt gefreut. Das historische Gebäude hat einen wunderbaren Charme, und unser Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel. Besonders schön war der Garten, in dem wir an beiden Tagen bei kühlen Getränken entspannen konnten. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, sehr vielfältig und ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Hotel Astoria uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Cons:

Es gab nichts, was unseren insgesamt sehr schönen Aufenthalt wesentlich beeinträchtigt hätte.
