The location was excellent, and the room looked clean and tidy when we arrived. The air conditioning worked perfectly throughout our stay. The host gave us a very warm welcome and was friendly, kind, and helpful. She did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. We really appreciated her hospitality!
We stayed for 5 nights, but we were only provided with two rolls of toilet paper at the beginning, so we had to ask for more several times.
Since the apartment is on the ground floor, various insects managed to get inside, including two cockroaches that we had to kill.
It rained heavily during our stay, and the water supply was interrupted twice.
Another thing that could be improved is having a full-length mirror in the main room. Currently, if you want to check your outfit, you have to go to the bathroom, which is quite inconvenient.

Geweldige accomodatie! Het appartement is ruim, fris en van alle gemakken voorzien. De gastheer- en vrouw zijn heerlijk bezig om de accomodatie op orde te houden. Ze zijn ontzettend behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De accomodatie zit direct aan het strand en er is meer dan genoeg keuze aan restaurants in de omgeving. Heerlijk verblijf en ik zou dit aan iedereen aanraden.

The room was spacious and clean. It had good air conditioning and the water was warm . The location was excellent.

The pool area and sunbeds were needing a little repair and maintenance.
For the price a bottle of water for teethbrushing would be appreciated.
The room needs to provide bath towels as well as pool towels as towels take a long time to dry in the climate.

The location was good
The hosts were not responsive. The AC was not working and no one was responding to us. They wefe ignorant throughout our stay.
The food was good and friendly staff Malee and her family were good hosts and very accommodating.
The garden has not been maintained, we suggest tea, coffee and water to be provided complimentary, better choice of food in the menu. Staff wasn't updated that we had requested breakfast till we told them.
Villa Hiriketiya is perfectly located right in the center, within walking distance of everything, which made getting around super easy. The bedrooms are large and spacious, and the pool area is really nice overall.
A few small points to improve: the pool could use a bit more regular maintenance and vacuuming, and unfortunately, treatment was added in the morning so we couldn’t use it during most of our stay. It can also be a bit noisy since it’s on the main road.
The bed was very soft, which might not suit everyone.
Overall, a great stay mainly thanks to the unbeatable location and spacious setup.
