It was clean and the bed was comfortable
The sink was coming off the wall, bathroom window was open and wouldn’t close. Toilet would leak when flushed.
Only 1 plug socket with an extension lead which blew the fuse so couldn’t keep fridge and phone charger plugged in.
Shower was horrific and water wouldn’t go hot…
kitchenette area has microwave that was filthy and didn’t even work.
Room was small. Understand we booked budget room
But was below standards expected.

Classic old hotel that would have been grand in its day. Could be awesome again once renovated. Lovely staff. Food at the restaurant next door was delicious.
Quite run down but hopefully the owners can bring it back to life. Interesting people living out the back…
People smoking in the rooms staff drinking all night and people fighting in the hall ways grumpy staff and I would not stay again
It’s close to town. The room was clean as was the linen.
One of the mattresses on the beds had such hard springs they were prominate and it was impossible to be comfortable on, purgatory to spend a night on. The manager was untidily dressed and not friendly on arrival. The hotel is situated by a large roundabout and frequent and noisy cattle trucks can be heard throughout the daylight hours. The sink in the bedroom had a continuously leaking tap and the sink was blocked so when you cleaned your teeth or washed your face the water stayed in the basin for ages. You won’t get a piping hot shower. My shower was warm enough but I didn’t use the cold water tap at all.
Hard to think of anything I liked to be honest.
The guy in reception wasn't friendly.
The carpet going up the stairs was hideous. Original plumbing and electrical. Very hard to flush the toilet. Water in shower only just hot enough. Couldn't have the kettle and heater going at the same time! No complimentary milk either.
Wouldn't recommend and won't stay there again.

Room heater didnt work as i didnt notice the outlet was tripped when heated the water. Poor electrical supplies. No good parking space.
