Pros:

The hotel is an old style art deco hotel. It was clean and comfortable and although the premises are in need of an overall refresh, which the owners are working on,I loved the character of the place. It was very good value.

Clean, Easy to find, affordable, classic charm,

Cons:

Being an old hotel the hot water was warm at best, the multi plugs could only handle one thing plugged into it at a time so I ended up just plugging directly into the wall. But they were only small issues.

Enjoyed our stay, comfortable, pricing was good and we got upgraded.
Pros:

Handy area for where we were going on our trip. Grand old hotel which are interesting, plenty of room.

Cons:

Would have been good to have had real milk instead of packet creamer for the tea / coffee

Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff
Pros:

Great location for accessing blue springs and Hobbiton. Room was spacious and clean and had a smart tv and fridge.

Cons:

Was sometimes hard to reach reception as staff could be busy with other tasks. Once checked in and had access codes this was no longer an issue.

Lovely historical hotel with great prices and cozy rooms
Pros:

Great feel about the place, the history, very cozy, friendly staff who are making an effort to look after a historical hotel. and handy restaurant. Little smart TV with Prime Video. I would stay again
