Great small hotel to stay in Italia neighbourhood in Santiago
Pros:

Perfect location inside one of the most enjoyable areas in Santiago. Very nice staff. Comfortable but small room.

Cons:

Braekfast is basic. Common areas are cold during autumn and winter times.

Das Zimmer war zwar etwas klein, aber der grosse Balkon, der wunderschön begrünt war, hat das völlig wett gemacht. Eine Oase inmitten der quirligen Stadt.
Frühstück im kleinen Cafe des Hotels war auch sehr lecker.

Beautiful location, but unfortunately the reception team and lack of customer care ruined it for us.
Pros:

The location in Barrio Italia is great, and both the housekeeping team and breakfast staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself has a charming aesthetic and good potential.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the reception and overall customer service experience were extremely disappointing. Communication was consistently poor and there was very little willingness from staff to assist beyond the absolute minimum.

The most frustrating situation happened on our departure day: after confirming THREE separate times with reception that breakfast would be available from 7:30 AM, we came downstairs before leaving for an 8-hour bus journey to Mendoza only to be told breakfast would actually start at 8:30 AM due to a public holiday. No one informed us beforehand, despite us specifically checking multiple times. We had to leave without eating, I was unable to properly take my morning medication, and no solution or takeaway option was offered at the time "nothing we can do" they said.

We also paid for a room upgrade and were surprised by how small the bed was, which did not match the expectation created by the upgrade itself.
