A real luxury experience
Pros:

A real luxury experience. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. A beautiful comfortable lobby. The room was well furnished and welcoming. The fitness center was actually respectable. Generally pretty quiet, except for building construction next door.

Cons:

I would have liked a slightly bigger desktop for working.

Fabulous stay in the Gold Coast
Pros:

Very well located and fabulous boutique feel hotel. We could walk to most places. We also used the bikes they provide to cycle along the lake. The room was very comfortable and cosy. Staff was attentive. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Fabulous hotel for our long weekend Chicago birthday getaway

The property and room were fabulous! We had a wonderful long weekend birthday getaway and would absolutely return. The front desk and lobby staff were all phenomenal! The only person we encountered that was less than pleasant was the rooftop hostess (did not catch her name). She treated us, and another couple staying a the hotel, very poorly. It was minor in the grand scheme of things - but overall incredible stay at the Viceroy.

The rooftop hostess was far from hospitable and very rude to guests staying on the property.

Great hotel with luxurious rooms and helpful staff in the hotel.
Pros:

Excellent shower. Very comfortable bed with 3 pillows and a great comforter. Lots of drawers and closet that opened to both the hall and the bathroom. Nice seating and desk space.

Cons:

Service at the restaurant was slow. Orders had mistakes. Separate people bring the coffees and the meals so they can't confirm what was ordered.
