Pros:

The gardens and pool are beautiful. The cottage set within the garden is stunning - a truly beautiful Bali experience. The breakfast in Poppies restaurant was the best we had on on whole trip. Will book again if we return to Bali... it is true beauty within Kuta!

Our favourite place to stay in Kuta — peaceful, comfortable, and always welcoming
Pros:

Poppies is our favourite spot to stay whenever we’re in Kuta. The quiet gardens and pool is such a nice change from everything going on outside. The villas are beautiful, spacious and always very clean. The breakfast that they bring each morning always hits the spot. Bathroom is spacious and clean. Comfy king bed and cold aircon. Airport transfers included. Nothing is ever too big of an ask for the staff.

Paradiesische Oase
Pros:

Ein Paradies, sobald mal aus dem Lärm des sehr touristischen Kuta durch die Türe tritt. Für mich war es wie eine Oase, in die ich mich mit der Zeit immer mehr zurückgezogen habe, weil es dort so schön ist! Auch sehr liebe Mitarbeiter!

Cons:

Dass die Unterkunft für mich als Alleinreisende leider zu teuer war - sonst wäre ich gerne noch länger geblieben 😅

Pros:

Es war einfach nur traumhaft. Eine Oase im wilden Kuta. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse, die Gärten und der Pool waren besonders toll. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders die Fahrer und das Personal an der Rezeption.
Unbedingt auch im Restaurant Poppies essen. Das Essen ist super lecker und das Ambiente traumhaft. Wir waren hier jeden Tag (manchmal auch zum Mittagessen und Abendessen), weil es so lecker, sauber und schön war.

Nichts, es war alles perfekt!

Perfect for a peaceful stay in lush green oasis
Pros:

Our stay at Poppies Bali took us back to an era when Kuta was the hub of Balinese tourism. While Kuta has changed completely since Poppies was established, Poppies has remained an elegant and welcoming oasis, with beautiful, well appointed & quiet cottages, a lush garden giving privacy to every room, and with a pool set perfectly into greenery. It is a very well maintained and cared for property, in a place where often the old buildings have to give way to the new. It’s great to see this place standing the test of time.

Przereklamowany hotel.
Pros:

Ogród ładnie utrzymany, basen i jego otoczenie jest bardzo ładne. Śniadania jedliśmy w restauracji obok hotelu. Śniadania smaczne. W cenie hotelu dostaliśmy transfer na lotnisko.

Cons:

W pokoju strasznie śmierdzi stęchlizną. Pokoje są ciemne, wilgotne. Brak wentylacji. Z klimatytora kapie woda na podłogę. Wg. Obsługi zbyt intensywnie użytkowaliśmy klimatyzację. Lodówka prawie nie chłodziła. Wyposażenie chaty przestarzałe. Chaty wymagają generalnego remontu. Generalnie cena radykalnie zawyżona do wartości, jakości hotelu. Nie polecamy tego hotelu.

Bali style bathroom
Pros:

A friendly hotel that truly feels like home. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay away from the crowds, this is a great choice. Although the hotel is over 45 years old, it has been very well maintained and the rooms are comfortable. I especially loved the Bali-style bathroom, which added a relaxing resort-like feel to the stay.

The hotel is not located on the main road. The access road is a bit narrow, and some Grab drivers had difficulty finding the location. However, once you arrive, the peaceful atmosphere makes it worthwhile.
