Categories

Cleanliness
8
Generally praised (clean rooms and premises, mention of clean toilets), but some specific complaints about housekeeping responsiveness, an unclean commode in one report and poor-quality bath slippers affecting perceived cleanliness/safety.
Service
9
Staff repeatedly described as courteous, cooperative and helpful by name; doormen and restaurant staff noted for going out of their way. Some negative notes around front desk responsiveness and checkout organisation, but overall service is a strong positive.
Location
9
Multiple comments highlight a very good/top location, walkable to many restaurants/cafés and convenient to offices (e.g., visa office). Minor drawback: parking is tight.
Room Quality
8.8
Rooms described as spacious and largely clean; positives outweighed by isolated issues such as limited TV channels/occasional TV outages and a report of an unclean commode.
Amenities
7.2
Amenities are limited for a 5-star expectation (no pool/gym mentioned, pub on ground floor closed), though breakfast and restaurant service receive praise.
Value for Money
9.2
Multiple explicit mentions of good value for money and competitive pricing; guests felt the stay offered strong value.
Food and Beverage
8.5
Breakfast described as excellent and restaurant staff professional; isolated service glitches reported (toaster not working) and the pub closure reduces late-night options.
Overall Experience
8.3
Overall very positive—many guests called it a wonderful stay and would return or recommend. Cumulative minor operational issues (housekeeping requests, front desk/billing problems) temper the score slightly.

Excellent location, hospitality and value for money
Pros:

This hotel is so close to Gemini flyover, the heart of the city, and well connected to other key parts of the city. The hospitality at the hotel is remarkable. Our room was clean and comfy with all the facilities that are needed, and everything we asked, for example, weighing machine, fan were provided immediately. Breakfast included was excellent in range, quality, taste, and the service was good. Food at the restaurant attached is very tasty and the lounge was good to sit and meet people. All in all a very good hotel in a good location at a very good price.

Cons:

Was good but for breakfast which can be improved.
Pros:

location, staff

Cons:

Breakfast was ok but it could be made better. Same food choices and it's not really eatable after a day or two. We stayed for 8 days. Last year it was excellent, this year idli was not eatable (was hard), chutney had more salt, not much optinos compared to last year. Definitely could be made better.
