Nice rooms.
I accidentally left my $200 electric toothbrush and a few other personal items in the shower when I checked out. After following up twice, I was advised that nothing had been found. When I attempted to pursue the matter further, I was told that management would contact me, however no one ever did.
For an establishment charging over $350 per night, I would expect a clear process for recovering and securely holding items left behind by guests, even if only for a short period. The lack of follow-up and apparent inability to account for lost property was extremely disappointing.
Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled has left me with little confidence in the hotel’s customer service and would make me hesitant to stay here again.

Easy to get to from the airport and good facilities with a restaurant on premises which was convenient
The rooms were basic and not superior as indicated by the property description - we could hear the guests upstairs very clearly through out the night
The Executive Suite was fabulous. Loved the super comfy bed and the short walk, (stumble) from the cellar door. Will be back for sure!

We have stayed here a number of times and feel welcomed by Louis and his staff. Staying during the week is a treat it’s a great place to relax! It’s a beautiful spot for a wedding or function.
Dinner was delicious at Homestead Brewery, George makes a good cocktail! Their breakfast offers so much choice, a perfect way to start the day. Can’t wait to visit again see you soon!
I was disappointed that they have changed toiletries (now made in China???) to another brand. I loved the APPELLES range which is made in Australia. I now order on line for home use and also give as gifts (suggest you give them a try)

Right off main roads but no noise on property , spacious , a variety of restaurants and the wine tasting venue , we didn’t go anywhere else
Late check in at 3 pm and early check out 10 am - not enough time
Needs baths on verandah or spa for 2

The room, the view of the river, having a brewery and winery on-site. What's not to love. And a very nice restaurant.
Smokers and papers are definitely treated like second class citizens. Smoking area is "see those trees about 200m away. Yeah thats where the smoking area is.
